🌕 Guru Purnima • Chāturmāsya Begins 🌿

Tomorrow marks two beautiful milestones in our Sanātana tradition.

✨ Guru Purnima—the day we offer our gratitude to the Guru, the dispeller of darkness and the giver of wisdom.

✨ Chāturmāsya—the beginning of four sacred months dedicated to spiritual discipline, self-reflection, scriptural study, japa, and inner growth.

Just as a farmer sows seeds in the right season, Chāturmāsya is the ideal time to sow spiritual seeds that will blossom into peace, devotion, and wisdom.

May the grace of the Guru illuminate our path and inspire us to make every day of these sacred months meaningful.

Ram Ram

🌼 As we approach Adi Shankara Jayanthi on the 21st, I am reflecting on one of my most loved verses composed by Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya.

This sacred hymn is a heartfelt prayer seeking forgiveness from Lord Shiva for all our sinful deeds, mistakes, and shortcomings, while surrendering at His feet with humility.

While the world celebrates birth with joy, this verse reminds us to look deeper — to see birth itself as the result of karma, and life as an opportunity for liberation through devotion and wisdom.

This first verse is especially powerful in showing the suffering tied to worldly existence and the soul’s cry for Shiva’s grace. 🙏✨

Can you guess which stotram this verse is from?
And also, what is your favourite shloka or verse of Adi Shankaracharya? Please share in the comments.
