With the Divine blessings of our most beloved Bhagawan, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, TN, Chennai Metro West is organising Satsangh on "DEVI MAHATHMYAM / DURGA SAPTHA SHATHI" by Smt. Lalitha Srinivasan from 26/06/2020 (Friday) to 30/06/2020 (Tuesday) from 6 PM to 7.15 PM*l on all days.
The LIVE will begin @ 5 PM as usual with Vedam & Bhajans from Sai Kulwant Hall, Prashanthi Nilayam. Satsangh shall start @ 6 PM.

Devi Mahathmyam which is also known as Durga Saptha Shathi or Chandi Pat is the text singing the Glory of Godess MAA. It consists of 700 verses in 13 cantos. It is said in Markandeya Purana. STHOTHRA SATHUSHTAYAM, the four sthuthis which explain the Glory of Divine Mother is said in parallel to Upanishad.
It has the equal importance of Sri Rudram in our Sanathana Dharma. It describes the battle between Good and Evil forces and how Godess Durga manifests and leads the good against evil. Using this mantras, Chandi Homam is often performed from Kashmir to Kanyakumari for the wellness of all beings.
Listening or Reading Devi Mahathmyam destroys all our Sins, gives Physical & Mental Strength and leads to Wisdom, which is the very purpose of human birth.
