Most Ven. Bhikkhu Bodhi's visit was a remarkable milestone for South India, from 23rd to 27th Feb 2025. During his visit to Pondichery, he engaged with students at Nadukkuppam Government Higher Secondary School, distributed food to combat poverty, and planted saplings to promote environmental sustainability. Rev. Gauthama Prabhu, Chairperson of the South Indian Buddhist Council, played a crucial role in providing support for the event’s success.
Additionally, the Department of Philosophy organized an academic talk, inaugurated by the Honorable Member of the Vice Chancellor Convenor Committee, Prof. S. Armstrong.
Special thanks to Dr. M. Venkatachalapathy, HOD of the Philosophy Dept., whose dedicated efforts ensured the program's grand success.

10 women's collective group of FHSM are undergoing ten days Green sustainable livelihoods training program at Auroville. This opportunity would enhance them to learn how to produce eco-friendly bricks through Compressed Stabilised Earth Blocks (CSEB) Bricks which also helps them developing masonry skills for constructing house. Kerala Buddhist Council (KBC) has organized the Buddha Poornima celebration at Ambalapuzha, Karumadikkuttan in Kerala. The holy day has been observed and celebrated by thousands of Buddhist followers and the programme has been blessed by the Present of Ven. Nawang Kunphel, who is a teacher and great master in Sera Jey Monastery at Bylakuppe. The first Karumadikkuttan Puthaka Award has also been distributed to two eminent Scholars, Dr. Ajay Sekher, Assi. Prof. dept. of English in the See Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady (PUTHAN KERALAM) and Dr. MB Manoj Assi. Prof. Dept. of Malayalam and Kerala studies in Calicut Univerity (BUDDHAROOPAM). The programme has been officially inaugurated by the Hon. MLA H. Salam.

I am very happy to have led a two-day residential Buddhist workshop under the banner of Manimekhala Academy-Kerala on "Realising Prabuddha Bharat: With Wisdom and Compassion" in Kumily, Kerala for 20 Buddhist leaders including 8 Dhammamitras of Triratna Boudha Mahasangha. I rejoice in the merits of Ajayan Babu who was instrumental in bringing his Buddhist community leaders and making all arrangements for this program. Dear all, Namo Buddhaya! Jai Bhim! We are pleased to share that our program in Pallavaram, Chennai went very well celebrating Buddha Jayanthi on behalf of Triratna Boudha Mahasangha. The main organiser of this program was Dhammamitra Selvaraj, Dhammamitra Chandrashekar, Dhammasahayak Sathyaseelan, Dhammasahayak Subramaniam, Dhammasahayak Murthy, Dhammasahayak Jeeva Saravanan and other volunteers. We express our sincere gratitude to these organisers for arranging the Dhamma talk on Buddha Jayanthi and Dr. Ambedkar. world. Dhammamitra Manimaran led the meditation and puja. The program also witnessed the Deeksha ceremony presided by Dhammamitra Gauthama Prabhu and the distribution of Buddhist certificates for the converted Buddhists.

Dear all, Namo Buddhaya! Jai Bhim! We are pleased to share that our program in Melmaruvathur, Chengalpet district went very well celebrating Buddha Jayanthi on behalf of Triratna Boudha Mahasangha. The main organiser of this program was Dhammamitra A C Kumar, Dhammamitra Mageshwari, Dhammasahayak Bodhiratna, Dhammasahayak Chandran, Dhammamitra Chandrashekar, Dhammasahayak and Manimaran. We express our sincere gratitude to these organisers for arranging Dhamma rally for the first time in Melmaruvathur and further organising Dhamma talk to deliver the message of Bhante Sangharaksh*ta on the five victories of Buddha which becomes the purpose of celebrating Buddha Jayanthi all over the world. Dhammamitra Kaliperumal took the lead in the Dhamma rally, and other mitras such as Deepika, Manimaran, Binoj Babu, Sasikumar, Nagaratna, Kailash Humane, Sukumar, Sudatta, Rupa Devi. Gauthamdasar and Maneesh performed the ceremonies. The program also witnessed the distribution of Buddhist certificates for the converted Buddhists.

I am pleased to share the Buddha Purnima function organised by MMT doctors in a beautiful locality near Trichy where they have developed a Buddha Vihar. I am very much pleased to see the zeal of Dr. Periyasamy, Dr. Raj Mohan, Dr. Rajvaradhan, Dhammamitra Kaliyaperumal and several others who organised and volunteered in this whole function for making it successful. I am grateful to them for giving me the opportunity of being the special guest and delivering the Dhamma talk. Trichy will be a great district for bringing back Buddhism in the coming days with like-minded. We all have to unite under an entity that pushes Babasaheb's Caravan forward.
