St. Thomas Malankara Syrian Catholic Church Prayar Pandanad Malankara Syrian Catholic Community under Archdiocese of Thiruvalla established on 1938 by H. E. Jos Our first vicar was Msgr. John Kachiramattom. Fr. H.B.

Established in 1938 during the initial days of Malankara Reunion Movement. The first community was started by the great visionary leadership of H.E. Joseph Mor Severios Valakkuzhiyil, the second bishop of Thiruvalla diocese and Shri. Augustin M K, who came here as a missionary from Palai Ramapuram church. The Second church was blessed by H.E. Zacharias Mar Athanasios, bishop of Thiruvalla on 1958.

Parish Priest at that time was Fr. Raphael OIC.The Golden Jubilee Celebrations was from 27th April to 30th April 1988. Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios was the chief celebrant. Celestine Padinjaremannil OIC was the parish priest.The new third church was blessed by Archbishop Cyril Mor Baselios, Geevarghese Mar Thimotheos, Yuhanon Mar Chrysostam and Thomas Mar Koorilos on May 2000. Vicar at that time was Fr John Elavinakuzhiyil OIC. Mar Thimotheos Sapthathy Memorial (MTSM) parish hall was blessed by H.G. Issac Mar Cleemis on February 2004. Our community celebrated her Platinum Jubilee on 2013 April. Cardinal Cleemis Catholicos was the chief celebrant. Rijo Puthenparampil was the vicar during Platinum Jubilee.
