ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰੇ ’ਚ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਹਾਲ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਹਾਲ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਇੱਕ ਉੱਚੀ ਥਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਜਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਆਮ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਣਾ) ਅਤੇ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਸੁਣੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
