ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸਬਦੁ ਸੁਣੀਐ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸਬਦੁ ਬੁਝੀਐ ॥
ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸਬਦੁ ਪਛਾਨੀਐ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸਬਦਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਥੀਐ ॥
ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸਬਦੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇਵੈ ਤਾ ਭ੍ਰਮ ਭਉ ਜਾਇ ॥
ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸਬਦੁ ਜਿਨੀ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਤੇ ਮੁਕਤੇ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਭਏ ॥੧॥

ਇਸਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ:
ਗਿਆਨਵਾਨ ਦੀ ਵਾਣੀ ਸੁਣਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਗਿਆਨਵਾਨ ਦੀ ਵਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਾਣੀ ਵਿਚ (ਜੁੜਿਆਂ) ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਜਦੋਂ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਵਾਣੀ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ) ਭਰਮ ਤੇ ਡਰ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਗਿਆਨਵਾਨ ਦੀ ਵਾਣੀ ਸੁਣੀ, ਉਹ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਦੇ ਬੰਧਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਗਏ, ਤੇ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਬਣ ਗਏ।1। ♥️ ❤️
