National Dengue Day was observed on 18 May 2026 at Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector 36-B, Chandigarh, to spread awareness about dengue prevention and public health responsibility. A pledge-taking ceremony was organized under the guidance of Dr. Shikha Bahri, NSS Programme Officer. Students, faculty members, and NSS volunteers pledged to maintain cleanliness, prevent water stagnation, and create awareness about dengue and mosquito-borne diseases. The programme highlighted the causes, symptoms, and preventive measures of dengue, emphasizing community participation and sanitation. The event concluded with a message to work together for a cleaner, healthier, and dengue-free society.

देव समाज कॉलेज फॉर वुमेन, फिरोजपुर सिटी के B.Voc Textile and Fashion Technology विभाग द्वारा दिनांक 25–26 फरवरी 2026 को भाई-बहन दिवस के अवसर पर स्लोगन लेखन गतिविधि का आयोजन किया गया। इस गतिविधि का उद्देश्य भाई-बहन के पवित्र, स्नेहपूर्ण और अटूट संबंध की महत्ता को रचनात्मक रूप से प्रस्तुत करना था। छात्राओं ने प्रेम, विश्वास, सम्मान, त्याग और पारिवारिक मूल्यों पर आधारित सुंदर एवं प्रेरणादायक स्लोगन तैयार किए। गतिविधि में छात्राओं ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया और अपनी रचनात्मकता व अभिव्यक्ति कौशल का प्रदर्शन किया। अध्यापिकाओं ने छात्राओं के प्रयासों की सराहना की और उन्हें भविष्य में भी ऐसी गतिविधियों में भाग लेने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

DEV SAMAJ COLLEGE FOR GIRLS, AMBALA CITY.
Under the 8th edition of Poshan Pakhwada, organised from 9 April to 23 April 2026, the NSS Department conducted awareness activities focused on maximizing brain development in the first six years of life. A talk on a healthy lifestyle and an awareness session on the hazards of junk and packaged foods were organised. NSS volunteers also spread awareness about reducing children’s screen time and visited an Anganwadi to highlight the importance of play and activity-based learning for children’s holistic development.

With the blessings of revered Shriman Nirmal Singh Ji Dhillon, former Chairperson of Dev Samaj, Employer–Employee Day was celebrated with great reverence and enthusiasm at Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector 36-B, Chandigarh.

Observed as one of the sixteen Relationship Days under the noble teachings of Bhagwan Dev Atma Ji, the occasion highlighted the values of trust, dignity, responsibility, and mutual respect in institutional life.

Prof. Dr. Agnese Dhillon, Secretary Dev Samaj, Chairperson DSCE & DSCW, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of a balanced and respectful employer–employee relationship for organizational growth.

The celebration witnessed active participation from Dev Samaj members, Principals, faculty, administrative staff, and support staff, and concluded with a ceremonial garlanding symbolizing unity and appreciation.

श्रद्धेय श्रीमान निर्मल सिंह जी ढिल्‍लों, पूर्व कर्मचारी एवं पूर्व सेक्रेटरी, देव समाज तथा पूर्व अध्यक्ष, विद्या विभाग जो परम पूजनीय भगवान देवात्मा के सच्चे साधक थे, जिनका जीवन अनुशासन, वैज्ञानिक मनोवृत्ति और परसेवा की जीती -जागती मिसाल था और जिन्होंने स्त्री शिक्षा, समाज -सेवा तथा देव समाज के उत्थान हेतु अपना सर्वस्व समर्पित कर दिया , पिछले वर्ष 6 मई, 2025 को स्थूल शरीर को त्याग कर परलोक गमन कर गए थे।
इस अवसर पर देव समाज की सभी संस्थाओं में श्रीमान निर्मल सिंह जी ढिल्लों की पुण्यतिथि पर उन्हें भावपूर्ण श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की गई और उनके आदर्श जीवन, सेवा-भाव तथा देव समाज के प्रति समर्पण-भावना को स्मरण करते हुए उनके दिखाए मार्ग और सिखाए मूल्यों को अपनाने हेतु संकल्प लिया गया ।
