MEN’S FELLOWSHIP RETREAT 2026 | MASIHI MANDIR CHURCH, CNI INDORE ✟ 🕊️

“What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?”
Mark 8:36

With grateful hearts, we give all glory and thanks to our Heavenly Father for the successful completion of the first-ever Men’s Fellowship Retreat of Masihi Mandir Church, CNI, Indore, held at Living Water Shelter, Patalpani.

This retreat was a beautiful time of fellowship, worship, prayer, sharing of God’s Word, joyful participation, and spiritual renewal. It was a special beginning for the Men’s Fellowship of our church, and we look forward to continuing this fellowship regularly from now onwards.

We are especially thankful to our Pastorate In-charge, Rev. Jaiwant Katara Sir, who led the fellowship, shared God’s Word, and delivered the sermon. We thank God for his initiative, guidance, and leadership through which this fellowship was made possible.

The retreat was beautifully organised into four groups, giving every participant an opportunity to take part. Each group, in turn, led songs of praise, prayers, and sharing from God’s Word, creating an atmosphere of unity and fellowship.

The spiritual sessions were followed by Bible-based games, where everyone participated with great enthusiasm. Through different chits, participants were given activities such as singing, sharing a testimony, reciting a Bible verse, and portraying characters from the Bible. It was a joyful way of learning, sharing, and encouraging one another while keeping Christ at the centre.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks, Prayer, and Benediction, followed by a time of fellowship over lunch, which everyone enjoyed together.

The day continued with an outing to Jam Gate, where the men spent time together enjoying the beautiful scenery and God’s wonderful creation. It was a refreshing conclusion to a meaningful day of fellowship.

This first Men’s Fellowship Retreat has truly been a blessed and memorable beginning. We pray that this fellowship will continue to grow stronger, bringing the men of our congregation closer to Christ, to one another, and to the calling God has placed upon their lives.

We sincerely thank everyone who participated, served, contributed, and helped make this retreat a success.

To God be all the glory! 🙏🏼✨

The Diocese of Bhopal, Church of North India, successfully conducted its Pastors’ Retreat on 27th & 28th August 2026 at Living Water Shelter, Patalpani.

The retreat was a blessed time of spiritual nourishment, reflection, fellowship, and renewal for the pastors and ministry leaders of the Diocese.

We were blessed by the presence and leadership of The Rt Revd Neena Charan, Bishop of the Diocese of Bhopal, and deeply enriched through the sessions led by our esteemed Resource Person, Rev Dr Paul T. Mathew.

The two-day retreat provided an opportunity for the clergy to step aside from their regular responsibilities, spend time in prayer and fellowship, reflect upon their calling, and be spiritually refreshed for the ministry entrusted to them.

As we share some glimpses from these blessed days, we thank God for His presence throughout the retreat and for every individual who contributed towards making it meaningful and fruitful.

📖 “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good.” – Psalm 107:1

Here are some highlights from the Pastors’ Retreat 2026.

🌱 Diocese of Bhopal CNI Observes Adivasi and Plantation Sunday 🌱

Bhopal, 9 August 2026: Churches across the Diocese of Bhopal, CNI, observed Adivasi Sunday and Plantation Sunday on 9 August, coinciding with the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples (World Tribal Day).

Special worship services, prayers and awareness programmes were organised to celebrate Adivasi communities, their rich heritage and their contribution to society. As part of the observance, several churches also conducted plantation drives, with clergy and congregations planting saplings and reaffirming their commitment to caring for God’s creation.

The observance served as a meaningful reminder to honour indigenous communities, protect the environment and nurture a greener and more sustainable future.
