Ukrid Ukrid is a village in Chas Tehsil, Bokaro District, situated on the NH-23 which connects to Ranchi. Ukrid is the middle category village by area in Bokaro.

It is the one of largest village in the Bokaro by population with about 5,000 inhabitants in the Territory at the 2011 Census. The name ukrid is often also used to include nearby areas like Halumannagar, as well as to refer to plot-basti, which lies beyond the NH23.
