A delegation led by Shri Anandraj Ji and Shri Charudatt Ji, along with Shri Abhishek Patil Ji and residents of Gadwanti, Maniknagar and Humnabad, met Shri Eshwar Khandre Ji, Hon’ble Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Government of Karnataka, and District In-charge Minister for Bidar, in Bengaluru today. The Hon’ble Minister was apprised of the current situation concerning the pollution of the Guruganga River and the developments on the ground. Shri Eshwar Khandre Ji assured that the Government has taken serious note of the matter, strict action is already underway, and necessary measures will be taken at the earliest.

Shri Anandraj Ji and Shri Charudatt Ji, along with former Minister Shri Rajshekhar Patil, MLC Dr. Chandrashekhar Patil, MLC Shri Bheemrao Patil and Shri Abhishek Patil, met Shri Ramlinga Reddy Ji, Hon’ble Minister for Forest, Ecology and Environment, Government of Karnataka, in Bengaluru today and apprised him of the alarming pollution of the Guruganga River and its serious impact on the health of people in the region. The Hon’ble Minister gave an assurance that the Government will take strict measures against all industries and companies responsible for polluting the sacred Guruganga river.
