Parsurameswar Temple

Parsurameswar Temple Preserved specimen of an early Hindu temple located in Bhubaneswar from Sailodbhava period. Built du This Temple is Older than any other Temple in Bhubaneswar.

In relation Lord Parsurameswar is nephew of Lord Lingaraj. Starting from month Shravana to month Kartika, Lond Lingaraj hands over his Power to Parsurameswar during his sleep. But unfortunately we pour water on Monday during month of Shravana on Lord Lingaraj to get his blessing who is in sleep.
