About us : We are very glad to introduce AL-KHIDMAT a registered charitable NGO working with a special Motto ‘Together, towards for a better world’. The Trust was started with the coming together of five professional social workers who have been in this field for more than 10

years. The team has been working together as consultants for many NGO’s spread across India even before legally registering as per Indian Trust Act. The Trust primarily works for the development of poor and marginalised children, and adolescent boys and girls, and empowerment of rural women. The Trust is involved in supporting children of migrated communities and especially those who are working in stone quarries and those who are from nomadic communities. AL-KHIDMAT supports them in their education, vocational skills training and this makes them settled communities. Today, AL-KHIDMAT has a very strong network of 23 NGOs spread across India. We have partners even from Qatar and Dubai. Vision : Towards a just and better world for everyone to live in

Mission: Towards a broad-based collaborative community initiative with the support of global volunteers; assist grassroots level ngos to achieve transparency and accountability in project implementation, Support women and children from the marginalized and ignored communities to help themselves complete their education and achieve economic self-sufficiency through empowerment skills. Services Offered: Children Education, Vocational and skills trainings to adolescent youth, unwed mothers and young women from rural and slum areas, Capacity building of grassroots level NGOs. AL-KHIDMAT programs are delivering results. The poor particularly the women and children have been the principal beneficiaries of our interventions. Our zakat based MUSKAN (Smile) Program has been a successful approach to poverty reduction. This is a comprehensive package that deals with asset transfer, education, awareness building, health care and morality.

The month of Ramadan is a month of bliss. We can harvest manifold benefits for each good deed and righteous activity. Zakat and other donations are highly rewarded in this blessed month. Our small donations can bring big results in the life of the poor. We call upon our brothers and sisters to donate to benefit the poor people who have legitimate shares in our wealth. Ramadan is the most blessed month and Quran was revealed in this month. The Quran enjoins upon us to stand beside the poor people.
