The Good News Mission Kenya has made a great impact in Kenya over the past 29 years, inspiring and uplifting youth through a combination of evangelism, skill development, and mindset training.

It is with great honour that I had the privilege to join Rev. Dr. Ock Soo Park, founder of the Good News Mission, in the dedication ceremony of the refurbished church hall in Nairobi today.

During his sermon, Rev. Ock Soo Park implored us to transcend our own limited perspectives and instead adopt the transformative mindset of Jesus, as the man healed at the pool of Bethesda in the book of John 5:1–5.

Through my office’s ongoing partnership with the Good News Mission, we have collaborated on a number of initiatives, including fostering a positive mindset among young people, who are valuable resources for our nation's growth and development.

On his second visit to Israel since March this year, Pastor Park held peace concerts in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Israel. Pastor Park met with Jewish rabbis and other distinguished guests and declared God's 'New Covenant' that justifies us before the Jews. Hoping that Korean Christianity will come together to preach the gospel beyond Israel to the ends of the earth, we will hold a Christian Leaders Forum and Press Conference to commemorate Pastor Ock Soo Park's visit to Israel.

[Israel] The gospel echoed in Jerusalem, "I will remember their sins no more." (Part 1)

Pastor Ock Soo Park's gospel ministry celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2022, since he was saved.

Born in Seonsan-eup, Gumi, Gyeongsangbuk-do, in 1944, Pastor Ock Soo Park spent his childhood in his hometown ravaged by the Korean War right after liberation.

Then, in 1962, at the age of 19, Pastor Ock Soo Park, who was forgiven of his sins through the 'Crucifixion of Jesus Christ' through the Bible, received training at a mission school set up by foreign missionaries, and then continued to preach the gospel in a life of faith that always depended only on the Lord.

Pastor Park, who received faith training in Apgok-dong, Cheopcheopsangol, Sancheong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, thoroughly seeking the Lord's grace without any help, has since experienced God working in the military, Geochang, Gimcheon, Daegu, and other ministry areas, and built up his faith in his heart.

The mission school established in 1976 has fostered junior ministers, and has held Bible seminars every year since 1986 in major domestic and overseas cities to lay the foundation for evangelical missions at home and abroad. About 2,000 local ministers are preaching the gospel in the name of Good News Mission.

Since 2020, when the corona pandemic broke out, online sermons that have been solidified early (662 TV and radio broadcasts in 61 languages ​​in 125 countries - as of October 2021) have created a boom in spreading the gospel worldwide. In North America, Central and South America, Africa, Europe, Asia, Oceania, etc., the gospel has been preached so powerfully that there are no places where the gospel has not reached.

[Israel] Concert to commemorate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Korea and Israel in Tel Aviv (Part 1)

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Israel in 2022, the Gracias Choir's Peace Concert will be held in Tel Aviv (October 18) and Jerusalem (19th and 20th) in Israel.

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the evangelism of Pastor Ock Soo Park, the founder of Good News Mission. Pastor Ock Soo Park, who has only walked one path for 60 years with the Lord along with the Gospel, is also the founder of the Gracias Choir, which holds this concert.

On the morning of the 18th, Pastor Ock Soo Park, who arrived at Ben Gurion Airport in Israel, was greeted by High Rabbi Yona Metzger and Israel Morgenstern, President of ZAKA Association. The president of the ZAKA Association accompanied the Chief Rabbi during the World Camp last July, and is also a brother-in-law. The Chief Rabbi met Pastor Park during his visit to Israel in March and the World Camp in July, and reunited in Israel after about three months.

After the welcome ceremony at the airport, Pastor Park moved to the Hilton Hotel. At the hotel, Grand Rabbi Jonah Metzger, who was waiting for Pastor Park, warmly welcomed him.

In an interview, the Grand Rabbi said, "Everyone, thank you for coming to Israel. We all believe in the same God and believe in the same Bible, and we invited you all to our country. I am glad that you received my invitation. And I am happy that you have come to the Holy Land."

He also mentioned the first meeting in March and said, "I was very impressed by Pastor Park. I met a pastor who memorized the entire Bible. Our hearts were connected through God, and in July I visited Korea, and now he is in Israel. This is the second visit. Mind education can contribute to society in all fields. It is necessary for the country and the world. The important thing is to maintain the relationship between Korea and Israel."
