* Composition Shri Guru Nanak Dev Sahib ji, composed the “aarti” after witnessing the evening pooja at the temple.*
Meaning The aarti’s message is that the creator’s grandeur is too great to be sung with a small set of lamps and incense. The sky is the grand platter, the stars are the lamps, the wind is the celestial fan, and the flower-filled forests are the scent. * Impact Shri Guru Nanak Dev Sahib ji, was deeply impacted by Jagannath and Odisha. Guru Sahib ji, was fascinated by the hymns of the 12th century Sanskrit poet Jaidev ji, which he heard during his visit to Puri. Jaidev ji’s hymns were later incorporated into the Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji.
