10th may is a day made for mothers. And to honour every mother of St. Thomas Catholic Church Bharuch , the SYM members took upon themselves to make the day memorable to everyone. After offering the Holy Qurbana the youth put upon a programme dedicated to the beloved mothers. It started with a speech given by Abhay Babichen, followed by a beautiful song. After the song, Vicar Fr. Mathew Palakattukunnel, gave a short but sweet message to the mothers, wishing them each for their hardwork and thanked them all for their efforts. Each mother was honoured with a thank you card. The programme ended with a cake cutting ceremony. A sweet end to a sweet day.

Easter Sunday — The faithful assembled in a spirit of gratitude and spiritual renewal as the day commenced with the solemn celebration of the Holy Mass in the morning. The liturgy was joyful and meaningful, with songs, scripture readings, and a solemn procession.
The celebrant, Rev. Fr. Mathew Palakattukunnel delivered a compelling homily in which he proclaimed the everlasting significance of the Resurrection. Following the Mass, the festivities continued with the cheerful sharing of blessed Easter eggs, embodying the promise of new life, as the community gathered in warm fellowship over tea — beautifully reflecting the spirit of togetherness and joy that Easter so graciously bestows.

Good Friday — Bearing the Cross in Stillness and Devotion.
https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1QjoUZR8Yq/

On Good Friday, the faithful assembled at St. Xavier's School Ground to solemnly observe the Passion and Crucifixion of our Lord. The service commenced with the traditional Stations of the Cross, during which families devoutly took turns bearing the cross from one station to the next, meditating upon Christ's path to Calvary. Sacred scripture readings, the proclamation of the Passion narrative, and a reverent procession offered moments of profound spiritual enrichment.

Maundy Thursday — An Invitation to Love and Minister.

https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1GWqhXy5xz/

Maundy Thursday, honouring the institution of the Most Holy Eucharist and the sacred Priesthood, was devoutly observed by the parishioners.
The most touching moment of the service was the Washing of the Feet, wherein the Vicar, emulating the compassionate example of Jesus, humbly knelt and washed the feet of 12 parish members. Through his homily, the vicar conveyed the timeless truth that genuine greatness is rooted in selflessness, boundless love, and wholehearted service to others.
