Honouring the Pillars of Our Families

The Church joyfully celebrated Grandparents' Day, making the occasion special by honouring and thanking all grandparents for their love, care, and blessings.
Our Vicar, Fr. Mathew Palakattukunnel, felicitated the grandparents with a shawl and offered a special prayer for their good health and well-being. Maria Prince delivered a meaningful and touching speech highlighting the important role of grandparents in our families. A cake-cutting ceremony and photo session added joy to the celebration. Fr. Mathew extended his heartfelt wishes and blessed all the grandparents.

St. Alphonsa Feast Celebration – 26 July 2026

The Syro-Malabar Catholic Church joyfully celebrated the Feast of St. Alphonsa on 26 July 2026. The Holy Mass was solemnly celebrated by our Vicar, Fr. Mathew Palakattukunnel, followed by the 'Ladeenj' and a prayerful procession carrying the statue of St. Alphonsa.
The St. Alphonsa Unit presented a short but meaningful programme portraying the inspiring life of St. Alphonsa—her deep love for Jesus and her joyful acceptance of suffering in faithful union with Him. Pearl Bejoy beautifully portrayed the role of St. Alphonsa. The children also offered Sukrithajapam in honour of the saint, which made the celebration even more prayerful and inspiring.
The celebration concluded with a fellowship meal .

Hearty congratulations to Mrs. Sneha Don and Mrs. Shainy Thomas of our parish for their outstanding achievements in Rhythm 2026, a competition organized by the Marian Mathruvedi Gujarat Region for its members.Mrs. Sneha Don secured First Prize in Solo Song, and Mrs. Shainy Thomas won First Prize in Story Writing.
