🙏🔱 Jai Shri Manimahesh Kailash Ji Ki! | Grand Shahi Snan at Shiv Kund Today

Manimahesh, Chamba. Devotees were blessed with breathtaking early-morning views of Shri Manimahesh Kailash, as the sacred Himalayan landscape appeared like a heavenly realm. 🙏🏔️

Today marks the grand Shahi Snan (Royal Holy Bath) at Shiv Kund, one of the most spiritually significant occasions of the Manimahesh pilgrimage.

According to local religious belief, all deities are believed to descend to Shiv Kund for the sacred bath on this auspicious occasion. The traditional ceremony is preceded by the arrival of the Chhailas of Lord Shiva, the sacred Chhadi of Kartik Swami Ji, and the Chhailas of Kartik Swami Ji.

As per the centuries-old tradition, the Chhailas of Kartik Swami Ji perform the sacred Dal-breaking ritual at Shiv Kund, marking an important religious moment of the pilgrimage. Following the ritual, devotees undertake the Shahi Snan at the auspicious time.

The occasion brings together deep faith, ancient traditions and the breathtaking grandeur of the Manimahesh Kailash landscape, drawing thousands of devotees into an atmosphere of profound devotion.
