Today we observed the 5th Sraddha Diwas of beloved brother & sister in law of Sri Prafulla Kumar Raut, Late Kamala Kanta Rout & Late Bijay Laxmi Rout at our temple premises. 🙏💐

With prayers in their memory, we shared prasad with everyone present. Grateful to all family, friends, and well-wishers who joined us in remembering them. ❤️

Guru Purnima is a traditional Hindu festival celebrated to honor and express gratitude to one’s spiritual and academic teachers or “gurus.” It falls on the full moon day (Purnima) in the month of Ashadha (June–July).

🕉️ Significance of Guru Purnima:
• “Guru” in Sanskrit means remover of darkness (ignorance), and “Purnima” means full moon.
• It is believed that on this day, Lord Shiva became the first guru (Adi Guru) and began the transmission of yoga to the Saptarishis.
• Also commemorates the birth anniversary of Maharshi Ved Vyasa, the author of the Mahabharata and compiler of the Vedas.

🙏 Traditions and Celebrations:
• Disciples visit or remember their gurus to pay respects and seek blessings.
• Devotional songs, spiritual discourses, and satsangs are held in ashrams and temples.
• Many observe fasting and perform pujas or rituals for their teachers.
• In academic institutions, students honor their teachers.

**Anniversary celebrations of Shree Shree Shirdi Sai Mandir & Sankat Mochan Hanuman Mandir**

Nalanga,Bhadrak, 26th Jan 2025:
The anniversary celebrations at Sai Dham was observed with a large number of devotees reaching the holy place to take part in the Puja.

Prasad was distributed for around 1800-2000 devotees to mark the occasion.
