Dear Fathers, mothers, brothers and my dear sisters,
We are sorry to inform you that due to the wild spread of covid19 epidemic, and as per the norms given by the civil authorities and the diocesan curia, we are cancelling the 40th Friday cross journey towards St.Thomas mount at Devagiri which was scheduled to be taken place on 3rd of April 2020.
We are cancelling only the cross journey, we will continue to pray and prepare for the holy week with more earnestness and enthusiasm...
Since the epicenter of covid19 in Karnataka is in Bangalore, please try to avoid the journey to and fro. Try to stay in home and hostel's where you are staying, thus we can restrict the spread of virus to the interior parts of Karnataka to a great extent.. we will together pray for all those who are affected by this epidemic, that is the primary duty entrusted to us by God during this Lenten season...
