The temple is located on the banks of River Nethravathi at a distance of 5KM from Bangady Aramane (Palace). The Temple is very old and there are no proper references and records claiming the date of establishment of Kolli Sri Durgadevi Temple. But people here believe this temple was constructed 800 years ago.
