सत्संग के बाद एक सेवक थोड़ा थका-सा बैठ गया।
मन में विचार आया—
“मैं रोज़ सेवा करता हूँ,
पर मुझे कोई पहचानता तक नहीं।”

उसी क्षण बाबा जी का वचन याद आया—
“सेवा पहचान के लिए नहीं,
पहचान मिटाने के लिए होती है।”

यह सुनते ही सेवक का मन शांत हो गया।
उसे समझ आ गया कि
गुरु की नज़र में वही सेवा सच्ची है,
जिसमें ‘मैं’ नहीं,
सिर्फ़ गुरु का हुक्म होता है।
