Confession is not optional. The devil's most effective strategy against Catholics
isn't getting them to stop believing.
It's getting them to believe Confession is optional.
And it's working. 🕯️
Most Catholics go to Mass.
Most say their prayers.
But Confession? "I'll get to it eventually."
That's the trap.
Because Confession isn't a Catholic tradition.
It's a command from the Risen Christ.
John 20 — hours after the Resurrection —
Jesus breathes on the Apostles and says:
"Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them."
That authority lives in the priesthood today.
When you kneel in that confessional —
you are not talking to a man.
You are standing before Christ Himself.
Sin grows in silence.
Shame feeds on secrecy.
The moment you speak it — its power breaks.
No sin is too old.
No shame is too deep.
The Cross is bigger than your worst moment.
You don't go to Confession because you are holy.
You go because you want to be.
Don't wait until you're ready.
Go because you're not. ✝️
Save this. Share this with a Catholic who needs it.
