Earlier this year, we began looking in-depth at what it means to be a true disciple of christ in our life-groups. To help us understand this better, we are using "The leaders covenant", which is a 7 part learning guide. The leaders covenant equips the modern day disciple to grasp the true meaning of discipleship. Currently, we are studying the fifth covenant. The life group evenings has been very exciting for all of us!

If you would like to know more on discipleship, you are welcome to join one of our life groups on tuesdays.

This Sunday at El Shaddai Church, Rachel our relative visited us and ministered to the congregation through a song and her amazing testimony.

Rachel struggled with severe acne as a teenager. The continuous negative responses to her condition led her to believe that she was not beautiful or of any importance. Insecurity dominated her thought-life and kept her in a state of depression. She had prayed about this problem for a while. One day, while at a revival meeting, the speaker called out her name and said, Rachel, "God wants to heal you today" When she went forward to receive her healing, she saw a bright light which came across her face and instantly she was healed. She said, "I feel like I have new skin now" Rachel was healed that night miraculously by God.

A couple of months later when she was contemplating on which career path she must undertake, God prompted her to pursue Fashion design, though she had a strong business background. Today she works as a Top model for some of the big names in the industry and has worked on many runway projects with some of the elite in the world of fashion. Rachel shines the light of God to the girls in the fashion industry offering to them the message of hope and transformation through Jesus Christ.

We still remember the day when ElShaddai Church was initiated, a few people were present for our sunday services. Since its inception, our numbers have increased only by the grace of God! and the prayers of his faithful people. We praise God and give Him all the Glory for his grace and for leading us and guiding us since the beginning.
