VPT Training – Session iII & IV | Assam Baptist Church

We thank the Lord for the successful completion of Session IV of the VPT Training with the Assam Baptist Church.

Many pastors shared that they learned new biblical truths and gained a deeper understanding through the training. One pastor testified, “I had only a shallow understanding of the Holy Spirit, but through these sessions I have been greatly blessed and enlightened.”

During Session IV, we taught:

1. The Doctrine of the Holy Spirit
2. The Gifts of the Holy Spirit
3. Spiritual Warfare

The resource persons for this training were:

* Rev. Jacob Christian, National Director – AFC India

We praise God for His work among the pastors and church leaders who participated in this training. Our prayer is that they will faithfully apply these biblical truths in their ministries and churches.

Please continue to pray for our final session and the upcoming graduation ceremony. May God use this training to equip pastors and leaders for revival and spiritual growth in the churches across Assam.

For the first time in history, AFC India launched an inspiring VPT introduction program in Karnataka on 1st February 2025. A total of twenty pastors have registered for the training. Pastor Job shared that the introduction session was profoundly beneficial and expressed eagerness for the upcoming launch dates. He emphasized that this training will be a powerful tool for witnessing a significant revival in the churches of our region.

had the incredible opportunity to share the love of Christ in Ahmedabad and Mahemdabad. During the week of Christmas, they visited seven police stations, bringing festive cakes and a heartfelt message centered on the theme, "Why Christmas." The response was beyond encouraging—over 230 police personnel were touched by this gesture of kindness. One officer in Ahmedabad shared that, after years of service, no one had ever visited them in such a way. At another station, a local officer went above and beyond, taking 30 minutes to personally introduce them to his colleagues, helping them reach 40 more officers with their message and gifts. The overwhelming gratitude and positive feedback they received was a testament to the power of the Gospel, even in the shadow of non-conversion laws.

As we step into a new year, it's a perfect moment to reflect on our journey so far. Although the past year may have seemed a bit scattered and unstructured, we can seize this fresh beginning as an opportunity to wholeheartedly commit ourselves to the Lord.

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the fourth session of the TIE training program in collaboration with CNI Church. This initiative seeks to empower individuals, equipping them to contribute to a broader global vision. The topics covered in this session included Spiritual Warfare and Spiritual Gifts. For many participants, this marked their initial exposure to these subjects. Notably, Mr. Hasmukh remarked on the prevalent confusion and misconceptions surrounding spiritual gifts in our region, stating that our understanding has significantly improved following this training.
