Vision
Nurturing young minds to love the holy Quran and live according to its teachings by recitation, memorisation and a thorough understanding of its fundamentals. At Quran Hifz Academy students commence HIFZ-UL-QURAN aiming at either completing the holy Quran or a pre-agreed portion of the Quran. After the enrollment of a student at QHA, they are trained to follow structured learning methods, m
aking a firm commitment to achieve their goals diligently and consistently. At QHA we do not have specified time limits to complete the Quran (reason being, QHA recognises that each child is different and may take time to become proficient at regular memorization). The students follow a set program and continue to memorize everyday. Classes are designed to provide two-and-a-half hours of strict memorization time and do not interfere with their mainstream school curriculum as classes are held during after-school hours, between 4 pm – 6:30 pm (Asr – Maghrib). Enrollment Norms:
• We expect unwavering commitment for the entire duration of the course. Both parents and student must have a clear understanding of the level of commitment and effort required to complete Hifz.
• All students will undergo an oral test before enrollment under the supervision of the A`lim/ A`limah.
• The level at which the student starts memorization will be completely at the discretion of the A`lim/ A`limah. If he feels the students need to strengthen their Tajweed or any other requirement to recite the Quran fluently it will be looked into at the time of enrollment and the parent will be informed of the same.
• If the student is at the starter level the school takes complete responsibility of teaching the child until he/she acquires fundamental knowledge of the correct Tajweed, such as Makharij, Mudud, Wuqoof, Qalqala & Gunnah rules, before actually commencing Hifz – ul- Quran.
• The school expects regular attendance and students will be required to memorize the set number of verses everyday, though some consideration will be given until the student gets the flow of the curriculum.
• The student:Teacher ratio will be 1:5
• Parental help may be required for some students and we expect that each parent takes complete interest in the progress of his/her child.
• We will have regular exams and progress reports will issued.
• A yearly recitation competition will be held and students will be taking part in Hifz competitions held in other similar Institutions. QHA will adhere strictly to correct memorization and understanding the translation of the holy Quran and will not teach any other branch of Islamic studies. May Allah Subhana wata`ala help us in our endeavor to inculcate love for the Holy Quran and instill its teachings through memorization and complete understanding, helping our children become torch bearers of a better tomorrow, In Shah Allah!
