We being in an era of stress filled life, rapid change driving our society, focusing excessively on our children's academic aspirations - Are we not failing to understand the need for Holistic Development - a natural order of life a couple of decades ago? These days, children struggle to find time to play which curb them from a natural additive for the physical and mental growth and most importantly an opportunity to handle peer pressure. Many of the factors mentioned is making the children lose out on the moral ethics and social values. We strongly feel that, if we motivate and encourage our children to learn, understand and assimilate the values given to us by various Gurus, teachers and thinkers in the form of verses, hymns, quotes, stories etc, definitely, our children would be equipped to handle adversities in the arena of the competitive world - Sandipani Gurukula is making a definite and positive step in this direction. The basic idea of Sandipani Gurukula which now adapts verses, hymns, storytelling, games, quiz, competitions etc; is to instil in the children the moral, social and ethical values. Focus is to reach more and more children through various educational institutions. Sandipani strives to create an environment which fosters the total physical, social, emotional, spiritual and intellectual well being of its associates. Efforts are made to foster family and social integrity recognizing that each member is an unique individual created in God's image and worthy of respect. Sandipani Gurukula has efficient team of facilitators visiting various schools trained by Mrs. Rohini Chakravarthy, an Electronics Engg (Founder- Sandipani Gurukula). The facilitators take pride in associating themselves with Sandipani Gurukula under the guidance and leadership of Mrs. Rohini Chakravarthy who strongly believes in practicing what she preaches. They are now visiting various schools and teach the students verses, hymns and tell them the stories to try and imbibe the moral values in their daily lives.
