Recently, the tax rates on certain goods and services were increased along with that a whole new set of products were brought under the GST slabs effective from July 18, a decision taken by the GST Council in their 47th meet held in Chandigarh.
When GST started in 2017, it had some teething issues with technology and rates. We saw many rate changes. There were also compliance issues. Now with additional updates in regard to the Goods and Service Tax, this has brought in a lot of questions for the council in regard to these updates.

"I am most honored, humbled, and privileged to be elected as The President of the Department Of Commerce, Model United Nations Society with the help and support from the Core Committee members and fellow club members. Our club has been built on a strong leadership foundation that instills the values of diplomacy and prioritizes personal development and integrity. I am fortunate to be part of a membership that is fully committed and dedicated to the 'Diplomatic ideal of Service above Self' and continues to go the extra mile in building the club and carrying out the many worthwhile projects that we undertake for the benefit of our student community.
As a matter of primary importance, if it's not too much trouble, We need to comprehend that authority doesn't include control or oppression of anyone. The world is full of such individuals who want to control and assume responsibility for everyone's lives. However, this isn't the quality of a decent pioneer. I remember how my seniors used to handle this very club with a great sense of leadership and responsibility. I can assure you that I will strive to the best of my abilities to do something similar and better for this club and make it excel in every aspect. I will also do justice to the club and ensure the proper functionality of the club. The DOC MUNSOC is a group of extremely talented people and to become the Secretary of this very talented club is now my responsibility.
