Here is the report of Mr. Neville Noronha on Gulf Times_Qatar*

Former DMIS principal dead
A former principal of Doha Modern Indian School (DMIS) passed away in Bengalore, India, yesterday following a heart attack.
Neville de Noronha, had gone to India to recruit teachers for his present employers –Our Own High School, Al Warqa'a, UAE - where he was principal and CEO.
A trained in therapeutic counsellor, Noronha attended Administrative Staff College, Hyderabad and the University of Illinois (Chicago) on a Fulbright scholarship.
When Noronha was the principal of Nopany Vidyalaya in Kolkata, the school was awarded ‘The Telegraph School Award for Academic Excellence’. He had earlier been an educational correspondent for The Telegraph Kolkata.

To Remember Him, here is some of his notes:

1. Comment written on the topic "ICE Could Save Your Life" on Gulf News**
___________________________________________________________
2. Letter written to the Editor, Gulf Times_Qatar*** stating "Complaints not based on facts" during his time in Doha Modern Indian School, Qatar

-Letters to the Editor
SUBJECT: COMPLAINT'S NOT BASED ON FACT'S
Dear Sir,
The letter of S M (Gulf Times, September 25) is as good as an anonymous letter. If Gulf Times wishes to withhold the writer’s name, then it must clarify facts and check on ground realities before tarnishing the name of the school.
If a parent is strongly convinced about his/her views, he/she should have the courage of conviction, come out in the open as Bibin Jacob did (Gulf Times, September 20) and sort out matters.
Bus service: Almost all the buses at Doha Modern Indian School (DMIS) are new Nissans or Toyota Coasters. The few Tempo Travelers are gradually being phased out. The bus fees have been increased for the first time in three years on account of rising costs. The statement that the “school authorities keep on increasing the fees” is incorrect.

Leaving school: No school authority, not even the principal, has ever asked parents to withdraw their children from the school if they are unhappy. Rather, the school has a ‘Complaints and Compliments’ procedure besides various forums for parental partnership, through which parents can air their grievances or contribute towards the enrichment of the school.
Mark Twain was right when he said “A lie can travel half way round the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.”

--> "Mr.Neville De Noronha, Principal of Our Own High School, Dubai, with whom I worked for about six months before I was relocated to Bangalore in June 2010. The man I saw him as highly energetic, ambitious, enthusiastic and hard working."

"Noronha was in Bangalore last Tuesday for interviewing teachers. Surprisingly, he invited me and my wife to join him lunch the next day. As Nalini was busy, I only joined and spent good one hour, having lunch and talking about the school, his family, nostalgia and other things....................."

"Unfortunately, he had massive heart attack the next day, admitted in the Fortis hospital in Bangalore. He relapsed into coma soon and after four days, i.e. Monday evening 12th Dec, at 5.30pm, when I went to the hospital for visit, he was as declared no more.........................."

"The event is unforgettable as I could see life is so fragile and uncertain.................................My God rest his soul in perfect peace
