It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our esteemed member, a founding pillar of our parish, and former Secretary of the Parish, Mr. K. S. Achankunju.

Affectionately known to many as Achankunju Uncle, his life of steadfast faith, humble service, and unwavering dedication to the Church has left an enduring legacy among us. We commend his soul into the loving hands of our Lord, trusting in the promise of eternal life.

“I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live.”
— John 11:25

The final rites will be held on Thursday, the 29th of January, as detailed below:

11:00 AM – Prayer Service at the Residence
12:00 PM – Funeral Service at St. Stephen’s Orthodox Syrian Church, Vijayanagar
1:30 PM – Burial at Indian Christian Cemetery, Berlie Street Cross, Hosur Road, Bengaluru

We humbly request your prayers for the departed soul and for the bereaved family, that they may be comforted by God’s everlasting peace. 🕊️
