It is Diwali and I thank you for being with me in this part of my journey.

While we all light our houses today, do spend some time today to light a few lamps inside u and sit in silence with ur eyes closed...

Light the first lamp inside u and let it burn your anger and / or jealousy that u may have for any one till date; see it melt away...

Light the second lamp and let it burn away unwanted greed and desires... feel happy and contented with what you have been blessed with.

Light the third lamp and let it fade away all insecurities that you may have in your mind related to anything or financials; just beleive that God has given u life and he will surely give you enough to survive.

Light the 4th lamp and carry that lamp to each part of ur body; let it burn away all your diseased cells or any disease in making. Feel healthy as this lamp travels to each body part and illuminates each organ.

The 5th lamp is a miniature of the Sun... nothing but the divine light... light it in the centre of your body and let it fill the warmth and love inside your whole body...feel one with the Divine... let the love and warmth filled inside you ooze out of you through your smile...eyes..speech...and body....carry this love with you through out the day...u will find that everyone who meets you is happy and elated. This is the biggest blessing that whoever meets you becomes happier after meeting you... this will also make you happier in return.

Light these 5 lamps each day morning and carry the positivity wherever u go...

Bhakta bhaayiyonko pranaam..!

लक्ष्मीजी कहाँ रहती हैं ?

एक बूढे सेठ थे । वे खानदानी रईस थे, धन-ऐश्वर्य प्रचुर मात्रा में था परंतु लक्ष्मीजी का तो है चंचल स्वभाव । आज यहाँ तो कल वहाँ!!

सेठ ने एक रात को स्वप्न में देखा कि एक स्त्री उनके घर के दरवाजे से निकलकर बाहर जा रही है।

उन्होंने पूछा : ‘‘हे देवी आप कौन हैं ? मेरे घर में आप कब आयीं और मेरा घर छोडकर आप क्यों और कहाँ जा रही हैं?

वह स्त्री बोली : ‘‘मैं तुम्हारे घर की वैभव लक्ष्मी हूँ । कई पीढयों से मैं यहाँ निवास कर रही हूँ किन्तु अब मेरा समय यहाँ पर समाप्त हो गया है इसलिए मैं यह घर छोडकर जा रही हूँ । मैं तुम पर अत्यंत प्रसन्न हूँ क्योंकि जितना समय मैं तुम्हारे पास रही, तुमने मेरा सदुपयोग किया । संतों को घर पर आमंत्रित करके उनकी सेवा की, गरीबों को भोजन कराया, धर्मार्थ कुएँ-तालाब बनवाये, गौशाला व प्याऊ बनवायी । तुमने लोक-कल्याण के कई कार्य किये । अब जाते समय मैं तुम्हें वरदान देना चाहती हूँ । जो चाहे मुझसे माँग लो ।

सेठ ने कहा : ‘‘मेरी चार बहुएँ है, मैं उनसे सलाह-मशवरा करके आपको बताऊँगा । आप कृपया कल रात को पधारें ।

सेठ ने चारों बहुओं की सलाह ली ।

उनमें से एक ने अन्न के गोदाम तो दूसरी ने सोने-चाँदी से तिजोरियाँ भरवाने के लिए कहा ।

किन्तु सबसे छोटी बहू धार्मिक कुटुंब से आयी थी। बचपन से ही सत्संग में जाया करती थी ।

उसने कहा : ‘‘पिताजी ! लक्ष्मीजी को जाना है तो जायेंगी ही और जो भी वस्तुएँ हम उनसे माँगेंगे वे भी सदा नहीं टिकेंगी । यदि सोने-चाँदी, रुपये-पैसों के ढेर माँगेगें तो हमारी आनेवाली पीढी के बच्चे अहंकार और आलस में अपना जीवन बिगाड देंगे। इसलिए आप लक्ष्मीजी से कहना कि वे जाना चाहती हैं तो अवश्य जायें किन्तु हमें यह वरदान दें कि हमारे घर में सज्जनों की सेवा-पूजा, हरि-कथा सदा होती रहे तथा हमारे परिवार के सदस्यों में आपसी प्रेम बना रहे क्योंकि परिवार में प्रेम होगा तो विपत्ति के दिन भी आसानी से कट जायेंगे।

दूसरे दिन रात को लक्ष्मीजी ने स्वप्न में आकर सेठ से पूछा : ‘‘तुमने अपनी बहुओं से सलाह-मशवरा कर लिया? क्या चाहिए तुम्हें ?

सेठ ने कहा : ‘‘हे माँ लक्ष्मी ! आपको जाना है तो प्रसन्नता से जाइये परंतु मुझे यह वरदान दीजिये कि मेरे घर में हरि-कथा तथा संतो की सेवा होती रहे तथा परिवार के सदस्यों में परस्पर प्रेम बना रहे।

यह सुनकर लक्ष्मीजी चौंक गयीं और बोलीं : ‘‘यह तुमने क्या माँग लिया। जिस घर में हरि-कथा और संतो की सेवा होती हो तथा परिवार के सदस्यों में परस्पर प्रीति रहे वहाँ तो साक्षात् नारायण का निवास होता है और जहाँ नारायण रहते हैं वहाँ मैं तो उनके चरण पलोटती (दबाती)हूँ और मैं चाहकर भी उस घर को छोडकर नहीं जा सकती। यह वरदान माँगकर तुमने मुझे यहाँ रहने के लिए विवश कर दिया है.!
