DO NOT BE AFRAID!

““Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”” ‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭6‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

There are many people who are afraid of too many things in life.

Fear is what leads to anxiety and has potential to lead you into depression.
The reason people often live in fear because they don’t have a revelation of who they are, to whom they belong, and who backs them up.

Dear friend, do you know who you are and who is for you?

At once instance Elisha was surrounded with enemies, and when his assistant Gehazi was gripped with fear. Elisha had to tell him, “those that are with us are more than those that are with them (enemies)”.

Prophet Elisha had to pray so that his servants eyes would be open and he could see the protection God gave to Elisha.

Dear friend, are you living in fear? Are you afraid of your enemies?
Let me tell you today “that God is with you, and He is for you, and He fights all your enemies.”

May your eyes also be open to see the protection God has provided for you.
Take heart today, thank God for His love towards you.

I pray may you overcome all your fears and live a stress free and victorious life in Jesus name.

USE YOUR GIFT!

“Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you.” ‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭4‬:‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Would you believe me if I say to you that God has given you a gift that defines you and your purpose here on earth?

Since you have more than a gift therefore it is easy for you to look at yourself and be confused what is “the gift” you have received, and if you have recognised a gift, you doubt if it is the gift God wants you to have and use.

Dear friend you might be good in many things, but nothing satisfies you like the one that holds a special place in your heart (whether you are receiving benefits out of it or no).

Paul writes a letter to his spiritual son and instructs him NOT TO NEGLECT the gift he received.
It is possible to receive a gift and still neglect it!

Many people might give you gifts, and for some gifts you work and achieve; but there is a gift that you have received by your spiritual source after they have LAID HANDS on you, and SPOKEN WORDS.
(Many people may lay hand on you and speak to you, but not every mouth and hand imparts a gift).

But when you know the stream you belong to and a gift that is imparted into you, you need to recognise and use it.
As you use it you will be a great blessing to the body of Christ.

I pray may you know your gift, use your gift and be blessed to use your gift to be a blessing to His Kingdom in Jesus’ name.

WHO SHOULD TAKE THE LEAD?

“The Lord answered, “Judah shall go up; I have given the land into their hands.””
‭‭Judges‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

After the death of Joshua the Israelites asked the Lord “who should go against the enemies?”, and the Lord replied Judah.

Do you have enemies in life?
What/who is taking the lead against them?

Many times it’s our desperation for victory, hurt from the past, revenge, anger, jealousy and other fleshly things wants to lead.

Who/what should actually lead you?
Judah, meaning PRAISE.
You should go into your battles not because of who your enemy is nor what they have done; but because who God is, what He has done for you on the cross, and who you are in Him!

When you really know and understand the work of the Lord Jesus Christ you can’t help but praise and thank God.
This attitude is what empowers you to live a victorious life.

The above verse says, Judah shall go up; I have given the land into their hands.
“Your victory is in your praise”.

When you look at your present, you might see the painful, helpless, and dead (stuck) things, but when you praise it changes your perspective you will begin to see through Jesus’ eyes.

Dear friend, as long as you look at the dead things you can’t praise, but if you ignore the dead and focus on Him; He changes your present and your future.

I pray today, may the spirit of praise be given to you, and may you enter and possess all the promises God gave to you in Jesus name. Amen

GOD HAS ALREADY GIVEN YOU VICTORY!

“Then the Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men.” ‭‭Joshua‬ ‭6‬:‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Some people think they have failed in life when they don’t get what they were looking for, feel defeated when others seem to be ahead of life, and just because they don’t see their promise land they feel abandoned by God.

In the above verse we see God is telling Joshua “I have given you the land” of Jericho into his hands.
While in reality Joshua is still outside the walls of Jericho.

If Joshua had to think about it, he would be complaining to God of the huge walls, power people in the city, and his disadvantages to enter into Jericho.

God not just gave the promise of the land, but He also gave Joshua a detailed instruction on what to do to see the promise fulfilled.
Whenever you get a word from God, you need to ask “what should I do now?”

Nevertheless Joshua followed the instructions of God meticulously even though he knew that’s not how to take over a city.
- You will obey the instructions of God when you trust in Him and His plan.
- When you obey God it also says you are not trusting in yourself but completely on Him.

Joshua did what God told him to do, then he received a promised victory.

Dear friend, the bible says you are already blessed by God with all blessings in Jesus Christ.
My question to you is;
- do you believe in the promises of God?
- ⁠are you still depending on your efforts also?
- ⁠are you trying to work for or earn your blessings?

Remember just because you don’t see the blessings of God manifest now, doesn’t mean you are not blessed.
I am telling you today “you are already blessed by God, He has given you everything you need to live an abundant life pleasing and accepting to the Lord.”

I pray in Jesus name may God give you grace to follow His instructions and live a blessed life.

A PERMANENT VICTORY!

“And Moses said to the people, “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again.” Exodus‬ ‭14‬:‭13‬ ‭ESV‬‬

The Egyptians oppressed the Israelites for 430 years, the sons born to Israel in Egypt did not know what freedom is; they might have lived their life thinking this is it.

Sometime when you are waiting for a miracle it might look and sound that you will never have a breakthrough.
What do you do in such situation?
Usually people give up fighting for their promises and become comfortable in their pain and pressures like the Israelites did.

But in the midst of pain, pressure, and living like a slaves they have a Word from God through a man sent by God to them.
Dear friend in the midst of every pain and problem you are in, do you have the Word of God from your man of God?

Today as a man sent by God to you, I declare the life of pain, pressures, and problems you are living, will end!
For the Lord God Almighty will bring you out with His mighty hand and outstretched arms.

I declare to you the enemies you see today, will be permanently defeated and the things you are under today, in Jesus name you will be above it.
Do you believe?

I pray today may God give you grace to see your life through Jesus’ eyes, and may you see your life through the promises of God.
In this season may you have great victories, in Jesus name.

GROW IN YOUR FAITHFULNESS!

“Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit.” Matthew‬ ‭21‬:‭43‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We have heard a lot about faithfulness, but not eveyone is faithful.
Our faithfulness is measured by our God who sees and understands us.

God has entrusted us with things and He expects us to be faithful to Him and to the work He has given to us, and also to its results.

Do you know what God has created you for?
Are you living in the purpose of God?
Are you finding joy and satisfaction in the responsibility He entrusted you with?

If you are not faithful to God and His purpose in and through you, then He can raise someone in your place to do what He desires.
Therefore it is important that you grow in being faithful to Him, if you do then He will entrust you with more.

More faithfulness - more opportunities.

I pray may God give you grace to be faithful to Him in every thing and at all times; even if it seems costly in Jesus name.
