SPIRITUAL GIFTS STRENGTHENS!

“I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong—”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭1‬:‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Gifts are game changers!
It changes moods, situations, and relationships.
If you don’t believe, try giving gifts to someone. (Let me know if it works).

Paul writing a letter to a church in Rome and says, I long to SEE you to IMPART some spiritual GIFTS to make you STRONG!

Can a church (people) be without strength?

You might be loved, forgiven, accepted, and blessed by God and can yet live in weakness.
You can be praying, reading God’s Word, attending all church services, giving generously, singing, be part of the ministry and yet have weakness.

Dear friend, I want to remind you today “spiritual gifts is what strengthens you!”
A spiritual gift is a nature of God that enables you be one with the Spirit of God and function as one.
A spiritual gift is an ability that empowers you to do things that you couldn’t do without God.

I assume the church (people) in Rome were doing everything that would satisfy them religiously, but there was a lack.
Spiritual gifts is what fills that gap.

Do you desire spiritual gifts ?

How to receive spiritual gifts?
It requires an anointed man, to meet you, and intentionally impart/release them to you.

Do you have a man who can bless you?
If not ask God.

When you find your man of God with his blessings, you find divine strength.

STRENGTH IN TOUGH SITUATION!

“But I said, “Should a man like me run away? Or should someone like me go into the temple to save his life? I will not go!” ‭‭Nehemiah‬ ‭6‬:‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We all go through situations that are tough on us, and these time can be frustrating, discouraging, painful, and can also limit us to live the blessings God has given to us.
And it’s hurting when you are attacked for doing good.

There is a man in the Bible, his name is Nehemiah. When he heard about his city, he wept, fasted, and begin to rebuild the ruins.
As usual people attacked him.

Instead of him going into the hiding, or give up on the good work he has begun; he continued to do the purpose of God.
It takes courage to stand for God, stand for yourself, and stand for God’s purpose in life.

In the above verse, he is saying “should a man like me run away, I will not go”.
Nehemiah stands his ground and in God’s time he finished what he started despite the opposition.

Dear friend what are the challenges you are facing in life?
Those challenges can be intimidating and seem hopeless, but if you have understood it as a purpose of God will for your life and if you have determined to do it. Stand for it!
You will overcome anything and anyone that stands your way.

I want to remind you, you are stronger, wiser, and powerful than you know.
May God give you great success in the face of your enemies in Jesus name.

DO NOT BE AFRAID!

““Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”” ‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭6‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

There are many people who are afraid of too many things in life.

Fear is what leads to anxiety and has potential to lead you into depression.
The reason people often live in fear because they don’t have a revelation of who they are, to whom they belong, and who backs them up.

Dear friend, do you know who you are and who is for you?

At once instance Elisha was surrounded with enemies, and when his assistant Gehazi was gripped with fear. Elisha had to tell him, “those that are with us are more than those that are with them (enemies)”.

Prophet Elisha had to pray so that his servants eyes would be open and he could see the protection God gave to Elisha.

Dear friend, are you living in fear? Are you afraid of your enemies?
Let me tell you today “that God is with you, and He is for you, and He fights all your enemies.”

May your eyes also be open to see the protection God has provided for you.
Take heart today, thank God for His love towards you.

I pray may you overcome all your fears and live a stress free and victorious life in Jesus name.

USE YOUR GIFT!

“Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you.” ‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭4‬:‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Would you believe me if I say to you that God has given you a gift that defines you and your purpose here on earth?

Since you have more than a gift therefore it is easy for you to look at yourself and be confused what is “the gift” you have received, and if you have recognised a gift, you doubt if it is the gift God wants you to have and use.

Dear friend you might be good in many things, but nothing satisfies you like the one that holds a special place in your heart (whether you are receiving benefits out of it or no).

Paul writes a letter to his spiritual son and instructs him NOT TO NEGLECT the gift he received.
It is possible to receive a gift and still neglect it!

Many people might give you gifts, and for some gifts you work and achieve; but there is a gift that you have received by your spiritual source after they have LAID HANDS on you, and SPOKEN WORDS.
(Many people may lay hand on you and speak to you, but not every mouth and hand imparts a gift).

But when you know the stream you belong to and a gift that is imparted into you, you need to recognise and use it.
As you use it you will be a great blessing to the body of Christ.

I pray may you know your gift, use your gift and be blessed to use your gift to be a blessing to His Kingdom in Jesus’ name.

WHO SHOULD TAKE THE LEAD?

“The Lord answered, “Judah shall go up; I have given the land into their hands.””
‭‭Judges‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

After the death of Joshua the Israelites asked the Lord “who should go against the enemies?”, and the Lord replied Judah.

Do you have enemies in life?
What/who is taking the lead against them?

Many times it’s our desperation for victory, hurt from the past, revenge, anger, jealousy and other fleshly things wants to lead.

Who/what should actually lead you?
Judah, meaning PRAISE.
You should go into your battles not because of who your enemy is nor what they have done; but because who God is, what He has done for you on the cross, and who you are in Him!

When you really know and understand the work of the Lord Jesus Christ you can’t help but praise and thank God.
This attitude is what empowers you to live a victorious life.

The above verse says, Judah shall go up; I have given the land into their hands.
“Your victory is in your praise”.

When you look at your present, you might see the painful, helpless, and dead (stuck) things, but when you praise it changes your perspective you will begin to see through Jesus’ eyes.

Dear friend, as long as you look at the dead things you can’t praise, but if you ignore the dead and focus on Him; He changes your present and your future.

I pray today, may the spirit of praise be given to you, and may you enter and possess all the promises God gave to you in Jesus name. Amen
