From the Dua (supplication) to be recited in the period of Ghaybah as taught by Imam Mahdi (عليه السلام):
"O Lord, bring His presence into sight / make His viewing visible.
And establish His foundations.
And make us from amongst those whose eyes are delighted by looking at Him.
Keep us in His service (khidmah).
And give us death upon His religion.
And gather us (on the day of judgement) in His group."

On this blessed occasion, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to all believers on the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W.) and his noble descendant, Imam Ja‘far al-Sadiq (A.S.). The arrival of the Prophet brought light, mercy, guidance, and a purpose to humanity, while the birth of Imam Ja‘far al-Sadiq (A.S.) opened an extraordinary chapter of knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. May the blessings of these two radiant personalities remain with us, strengthen our faith, and guide our hearts toward the path of truth and devotion.

On the auspicious 17th of Rabi al-Awwal, we commemorate a profound moment in Islamic history: the blessed birth of the Final Messenger, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), a mercy to all creation, alongside the birth of his noble successor and guardian of divine knowledge, Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (A.S.). Together, their enduring legacies serve as a timeless beacon of justice, moral excellence, and spiritual guidance for humanity. As we celebrate this grand dual occasion Jashn-e-Saqlain let us renew our commitment to living by the sublime principles, wisdom, and teachings embodied by the Holy Prophet and his Pure Progeny (Ahlulbayt).

"And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds." — Surah Al-Anbiya (21:107)

"I am leaving among you two weighty things: the Book of Allah and my Progeny, my Ahlulbayt." — Hadith al-Thaqalayn (Sahih Muslim / Al-Tirmidhi)

It is narrated that the Messenger of Allah (S) said to Ammar ibn Yasir (r.a.): “O Ammar, if you see Ali (a.s.) taking one valley while all the people take another, then follow Ali and leave the people, for he will never lead you toward destruction nor take you away from guidance.” The narration is also reported with the words that Ammar would remain with the truth and that the truth would remain with him. This narration is cited in Bihar al-Anwar and other works, with the report traced through Abu Ayyub al-Ansari and Ammar ibn Yasir.

Among the remarkable accounts preserved in Shia historical and biographical sources is the incident of Imam Ali al-Hadi (a.s.) and the wild beasts. During the reign of al-Mutawakkil, a woman falsely claimed to be from the descendants of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (s.a.). When her claim was challenged, Imam al-Hadi (a.s.) declared that the flesh of the children of Fatimah (s.a.) was forbidden to wild beasts and proposed that the matter be tested before the lions. When the woman refused, Imam al-Hadi (a.s.) entered the enclosure himself. The lions approached him, lowered themselves before him, and remained completely submissive as he passed among them. He then instructed them to move aside, and they obeyed. Witnessing this extraordinary event, the woman admitted that her claim was false. The account is preserved in Shia works such as Al-Khara'ij wa al-Jara'ih and Kashf al-Ghummah. It is presented in these sources as a remarkable sign of the divine distinction and dignity granted to the descendants of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (s.a.).

Muharram is coming to an end… the days of mourning, the majalis, the tears, and the remembrance of Karbala will slowly come to a close. But Karbala was never meant to live only within the days of Muharram. Imam Hussain (a.s.) gave everything for truth, and his sacrifice continues to live in every heart that refuses to bow before falsehood. As we bid farewell to Muharram, we carry one prayer in our hearts: may our mourning be accepted, and may we never be deprived of the love and grief of Imam Hussain (a.s.). Muharram may end, but the grief of Hussain (a.s.) never will.

Imam Hasan al-Askari (a.s.) lived his life surrounded by the enemies of the Ahl al-Bayt(a), under the constant watch of the Abbasid rulers. Yet no oppression could weaken his patience or his connection with Allah. Shia narrations state that the Imam (a.s.) was poisoned by the Abbasid authorities, and as the poison took its effect, the eleventh Imam of the Ahl al-Bayt endured his final moments with immense patience. On the 8th of Rabi al-Awwal, 260 AH, Imam Hasan al-Askari (a.s.) was martyred in Samarra. The tragedy was not only the loss of an Imam; it was the moment when the Imamat passed to his beloved son, Imam Muhammad al-Mahdi (a.s.), the awaited Imam of our time.

Today in Bangalore, the taboots of the 18 Bani Hashim are being carried in remembrance of the noble martyrs of Karbala. Among them is the taboot of Imam Hussain (A.S.), along with those commemorating Ali Akbar (A.S.), Qasim ibn Hasan (A.S.), Hazrat Abbas (A.S.), Ali Asghar (A.S.), and the other martyrs of Bani Hashim who gave their lives in loyalty to their Imam. Karbala remains a profound symbol of mazloomiyat, where Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his companions endured thirst, the loss of their loved ones, and immense suffering, yet never surrendered the truth. After their martyrdom, their bodies remained upon the battlefield without burial, a reflection of the tragedy and oppression of Karbala. Centuries later, these taboots are carried with respect so that their sacrifice and the remembrance of Hussain (A.S.) remain alive.

Salutations upon Imam Hussain (A.S.) and all the martyrs of Bani Hashim. Ya Hussain (A.S.).
