Our desire is to see the body of Christ being built up, through God given gifts, ability, talents. The Church was established in July 1979 with few peoples in Ulsoor, now known as Halasuru. In the year 1980 it was named 'Faith Assembly of God Church'. It was located in the same place till 1982 and later due to the growth which led to congested accommodation and insufficient place for parking, we s
oon shifted to a place called New Thippasandra. Here, the meetings were held in the temporary building covered by AC sheets. And the Church functioned from February 1982 - 1996. in worship, in Word of God, in music and fellowship . Due to the tremendous growth, the Church again had problems in accommodating the people and insufficient parking area, also the Church got into petty problems with the neighbours who weren’t happy about the huge gathering. So for these reasons we had to move to another place. Thus, in August 1996 we shifted to a place called Malleshpalaya. And at a same time the Kannada Bible School presently known as Karnataka Institute of Theology, which was located in Byapanahalli was also shifted to Malleshpalaya. Both the college and the Church started functioning together in the same place. The Church had a huge growth in both quality as well quantity. As the members of the congregation began to increase in number, we had to look for a bigger place. So we bought a new land in Vignan Nagar, which is 1 km away from the old place, in December 2001, the Lord helped the church buy a new land in Vignan Nagar, which is 1 km away from the old place. from then on the Church is actively functioning with new people being added every week.
