Navarathri 9th day

Eshwari Siddhidatri is worshipped on the ninth day of Navratri

In the beginning of the universe Lord Rudra worshipped Adi-Parashakti for creation.
Adi-Parashakti had no form(Nirakara). The supreme Goddess of Power, Adi-Parashakti, appeared in the form of Siddhidatri from the left half of Lord Shiva.
Goddess Siddhidatri sits on lotus (Kamal) and rides on the lion. She is depicted with four hands. She has Gada in the one right hand, Chakra in the other right hand, lotus flower in the one left hand and Shankh in the other left hand.

She blesses all Gods, saints, yogis, tantrics and all type of sadaks, devotees as a manifestation of the Mother Goddess. In ‘Devi Bhagvata Purana’ it is mentioned that Lord Shiva worshipped her and was blessed with all Siddhis (supernatural powers). By her blessings his half body became female and other half body male in the avatar of Ardhnarishvara.

She is the Goddess who possesses and bestows all type of para normal abilities (Siddhis) to her devotees.
Different scriptures mention different numbers of Siddhi. As per Markendey Puran, there are mainly eight types of Siddhi names as - Anima, Mahima, Garima, Laghima, Prapti, Prakyamya, Ish*tva, and Vash*tva.
Even Lord Shiva got all Siddhis by grace of Goddess Siddhidatri. She is worshipped by not only humans but also by Deva, Gandharva, Asura, Yaksha and Siddha. Lord Shiva got the title of Ardha-Narishwar when Goddess Siddhidatri appeared from his left half.
The glory of Goddess Siddhidatri is infinite. She fulfills all kind of wishes of her devotees.
It is believed that not only Manava (Human) but Deva (Gods), Danava (Demons), Gandharva, Kinnar (Beast), etc....

With the grace of Goddess Siddhidatri, the sadaks can attain all kind of achievements. It is believed if devotees worship her with full devotion and dedication, they get all aspect of achievements in life and nothing remains unattainable in the universe. Eshwari Siddhidatri grants the energy and positive attitude to her devotees that they step on the path of success

7th day of Navratri

pooja (ritual) is dedicated to Eshwari Kalaratri and she is considered the most violent form of Eshwari.

Kalaratri is one of the fiercest forms of Eshwari and her appearance itself evokes fear simply because the one who sees her has a dark side of him that is always bringing him fear of her appearance but actually for those with a pure and conditioned mind see's her as a Tripura Sundari....
So She is also known as Shubhamkari or "good-doing".

Kalaratri meaning Kala (time) & Ratri (Night) The One, who is a bestower of light on the universe which is always dark as night. Kalaratri is known as "the one beyond Kaal (Time)". She is the one who destroys ignorance and removes darkness. This form primarily depicts that life also has dark side and she is where knowledge and ignorance co-exists...

This form of Goddess is believed to be the destroyer of all demon entities, ghosts, spirits and negative energies who flee upon knowing of her arrival.

She wears a girdle of severed human hands, a garland of human skull heads representing the 51 letters of the Sanskrit alphabet and she carries 2 severed heads of those who go against the dharma(righteousness) and she wears tiger skin like Lord Shiva. She has three eyes that symbolizes past, present and future of the cosmic creation.

The appearance of Maa Kalaratri can be seen as being very dangerous for evil-doers. For she removes the darkness of worry from life of her sadhaks or worshipers. Her worship on 7th day of Navratri has very much a high importance to Yogis and Sādhakas. Yogis & Sādhaka penance on Ajna Chakra on this day,With full of surrenderness,Gratitude, with love and longing towards Shiva at the crown centre for sadhaks, on this day door opens of every siddhi, power and practice in the universe.
