In a world filled with competition and greed, it's easy to get lost and even neglect our own families. But what truly matters in life? Is it achieving the biggest dream in this world, or having a blessed and happy life? The Bible calls us to a life of happiness, peace, and success by seeking God first.
Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." When we put God first, we align our lives with His perfect will and experience His peace, guidance, and blessings. Prioritizing God transforms our hearts and minds, helping us to live out our faith genuinely and joyfully.
In this video, we explore practical ways to keep God at the center of our lives. Through Bible testimonies and powerful scriptures, we encourage you to align your heart and mind with God's will. Remember, when we seek Him first, everything else falls into place according to His perfect plan.
One inspiring story is that of the widow in Zarephath. During a severe drought, she trusted God's promise and put Him first by giving the prophet Elijah a small loaf of bread, despite her dire situation. God monored her faith, providing abundantly for her needs. Like the widow, we are called to trust in God's provision and be part of His kingdom.
Apostle Paul urges us in Colossians 3:2 to "Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things." This means aligning our thoughts, values, and priorities with God's will. The story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10:38-42 illustrates this beautifully. While Martha was busy with tasks, Mary chose to sit at Jesus' feet, prioritizing her relationship with Him. Jesus praised Mary for choosing what is better.
Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:24 that we cannot serve both God and money. The story of the rich young ruler highlights how difficult it can be to put God first when attached to earthly possessions. Jesus calls us to serve God wholeheartedly, not to pursue worldly gain.
Finally, in John 15:5, Jesus says, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit apart from me you can do nothing." Staying connected to Jesus is essential for a fulfilling and purposeful life.
Putting God first requires intentional choices and a commitment to aligning our lives with His purposes. Let's examine our lives, seek His grace, and trust Him to guide and provide for us.
Join us in prayer, asking for strength and wisdom to prioritize our relationship with God above all else. Let's journey together in putting God at the center of everything we do.
