About four Hundred years ago one jaminder , Sri Ram Ram Sen who came from Twenty Four Parganas has found the Idol inside a pond. He established the Idol which has a very unique look not any similarity with other Ma kali Murti. The look of the God has a pattern of south Indian sculpture and gives a very living hue when it is being decorated by a sacred process called " ANGASEBA". Exactly The Idol
is being Worshiped in "NATMANDIR" and shifted to CHANDIMANDOP after a Gala Procession. The entire perticipation although is very much restricted to only to Sen family members who has taken "DIKSHA" yet all relatives and villagers take part by assembling there through the night by offering pujas and hearing " Sankirtan". In present generation the organisers like Shri Amal Kumar Sen , Alok Sen, Amitava Sen, Sanju Sen, Shyamal Sen are trying to maintain the rich heritage by affectionate welcome to every one .
