It is the place where Guru Gobind Singh Ji , stayed for 17 days. Here only he heard about the death of that time mughal emperor Aurangzeb. After the death of the emperor, his younger son tried to become the next emperor, but in order to do that he has to kill his elder brother. So his elder brother (Bahadur Shah) came to Guru Gobind Singh Ji in bagor sahib, to take his help in order to defeat his
younger brother. At that time so many great decisions were made, including that Bahadur has to submit the person who was responsible for the death of Chhote Sahabjade (younger sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji) and he has to stop all the activities with which they were forcing people to accept their religion . In this way so many decisions which were quite important for the future of India and sikhism were taken here only. Therefore this place is a mile stone in the history of skhism.
