Today’s visit to Highway Fellowship, one of our missionary house church partner, it was a genuine blessing. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were met with warm smiles and an atmosphere of sincere faith. The small, intimate setting made the worship and conversation feel deeply personal, reminding me that the church is not a building but a family. We sang, prayed, and shared stories of God’s faithfulness, and by the time we left, my heart was full. It was a simple, powerful reminder that beautiful fellowship happens wherever two or three are gathered in His name.

Living Mission mobilizes the local church to fulfill the Great Commission by training believers to start and multiply house churches in their own communities. We do this through a simple, reproducible cycle: Mobilise, Train, Equip, Send, Multiply.

In West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district, a few individuals reportedly approached a pastor’s home, summoned him and others outside, seized their phones, and issued an ultimatum to stop worshiping Jesus, warning, “You cannot live in this district.”

Pray for the believers there: that God would surround them with His protection, fill them with courage and wisdom, and grant them deep peace in this frightening situation. May the Lord strengthen every persecuted believer, and may truth, justice, and the freedom to worship ultimately prevail.

Empowering local Church Planters is essential for effective missions, especially in India, where cultural nuances shape how the good news of Jesus is received. Local Church Planters understand their people’s hearts, language, and daily struggles, enabling them to clearly proclaim the gospel—that Christ died for our sins, rose again, and offers eternal life to all who believe. By investing in these leaders, we see the gospel take root in ways that outsiders cannot replicate. They boldly share Jesus, make disciples, baptize, and teach obedience to God’s Word. When local Church Planters preach the gospel in their own context, the unreached hear, repent, and follow Christ. So let us pour into them—because the gospel spreads fastest and deepest when it comes from within.

Most churches lack not passion, but disciple-making. Jesus never said, “Gather crowds.” He said, “Go.” He sent them in Luke 10, commanded them in Matthew 10, and they went.
Paul went.
Peter went.
Philip went.
Barnabas went.
And because they went, disciples were made; and because disciples were made, cities changed.
Today we have conferences, programs, and activities—but do we have goers? The world doesn’t need better branding. It needs disciples who will go to people and make disciples. That is why Living Mission exists: to raise goers, we train disciples to hear Christ, obey Christ, and serve Christ, and to equip them to go to families, communities, and nations. We also pray and raise senders, because some will go, some will give, but all must obey.

What is our House Church look like?

Our house church meets in a small 9x9 room with a low tin roof just seven feet high, packed tightly with 35 people. There is no fan, no air moving except what our own lungs push out in song, and the heat settles on us like a thick blanket—heavy humidity that clings to skin and drips from foreheads. By any worldly measure, this should be unbearable. And yet, we glorify God with a loud voice, not in spite of the discomfort but somehow through it, as if the heat refines rather than punishes. The tin roof amplifies our worship until the sound vibrates in our chests, and the sweat becomes something holy—a small offering of our bodies as living sacrifices. It reminds me of the early house church: believers crowded into hidden upper rooms, breathing the same thick air, singing with no instruments but their own desperate voices, and experiencing a presence so real that no one dared call it suffering. In that tiny, sweltering room, we are not 35 individuals enduring heat. We are one voice, one breath, one flame—and the roof may be low, but our praise rises straight through it.
