মানুষের কি সাধ্য অপরকে সংসার বন্ধন থেকে মুক্ত করে। যাঁর এই ভুবনমোহিনী মায়া, তিনিই সেই মায়া থেকে মুক্ত করতে পারেন। সচ্চিদানন্দ বই আর গতি নাই। যারা ঈশ্বর লাভ করে নাই, যারা তাঁর আদেশ পায় নাই, যারা ঈশ্বরের শক্তিতে শক্তিমান হয় নাই, তাদের কি সাধ্য জীবের ভববন্ধন মোচন করে।
আমি একদিন পঞ্চবটির কাছ দিয়ে ঝাউতলায় বাহ্যে যাচ্ছিলাম। শুনতে পেলুম যে একটা কোলাব্যাঙ খুব ডাকছে। বোধ হলো সাপে ধরেছে। অনেকক্ষণ পরে যখন ফিরে আসছি, তখনও দেখি ব্যাঙটা খুব ডাকছে। একবার উঁকি মেরে দেখলুম কি হয়েছে। দেখি একটা ঢোঁড়ায় ব্যাঙটাকে ধরেছে - ছাড়তেও পারছে না - গিলতেও পারছে না - ব্যাঙটার যন্ত্রণা ঘুচছে না। তখন ভাবলাম ওরে। যদি জাতসাপ ধরতো, তিন ডাকের পর ব্যাঙটা চুপ হয়ে যেত। এ একটা ঢোঁড়ায় ধরেছে কিনা, তাই সাপটারও যন্ত্রণা, ব্যাঙটারও যন্ত্রণা।

🔴🔴 যদি সদগুরু হয়, তাহলে জীবের অহংকার তিন ডাকে ঘুচে। গুরু কাঁচা হলে গুরুর ও যন্ত্রণা, শিষ্যের ও যন্ত্রণা। শিষ্যের অহংকার আর ঘুচে না, সংসার বন্ধন আর কাটে না। কাঁচা গুরুর পাল্লায় পড়লে শিষ্য মুক্ত হয় না। 🔴🔴

আজ পয়লা জানুয়ারি ২০১৬, কল্পতরু দিবস ও শ্রীশ্রীমায়ের ১৬৩ তম জন্মতিথি ।
১৮৮৬ খৃষ্টাব্দে এই দিনে ভগবান শ্রীরামকৃষ্ণ কল্পতরু হয়েছিলেন। সেদিন তিনি কৃপা করেছিলেন শুধুমাত্র তাঁর গৃহী ভক্তদেরকে। তাই আজকের দিনটি বিশেষকরে ভগবান শ্রীরামকৃষ্ণের গৃহী ভক্তদের ঠাকুরকে বিশেষভাবে পাবার দিন।
ভগবান শ্রীরামকৃষ্ণ বলেছেন ,'' কল্পতরুর কাছে যা চাওয়া যায় তাই পাওয়া যায়, কিন্তু কল্পতরুর কাছে গিয়ে চাইতে হয়। '' তিনি পবিত্রতার স্বরূপ। তাই পবিত্রতার মধ্যে দিয়েই আমরা কল্পতরু শ্রীরামকৃষ্ণের নিকটে যেতে পারি। আবার ঠাকুর বিশেষভাবে সাবধান করে বলছেন , '' কল্পতরুর কাছে চাইলেই পাওয়া যায়, কিন্তু মনে রাখতে হবে যে বাঘও আসতে পারে।''
এবিষয়ে তাঁর শ্রীমুখনিঃসৃত একটি গল্প আছে এবং শ্রীরামকৃষ্ণ ভক্তমণ্ডলী নিশ্চয় গল্পটি অবগত আছেন। সেই গল্পে জঙ্গলের মধ্যে পথভ্রান্ত এক পথিক কল্পবৃক্ষের কাছে খাদ্য, পানীয়, বিশ্রামের জন্য বিছানা সব চেয়ে পেয়েছিল । কিন্তু শেষপর্যন্ত তার মনে হল - 'এবার যদি আমায় বাঘে খায়, তাহলে কী হবে?' ভাবার সাথে সাথেই কল্পতরু তার ভাবনা বাস্তবায়িত করল, অর্থাৎ বাঘ এসে সেই পথিককে খেয়ে গেল। তাই ঠাকুর আমাদেরকে সতর্ক করে দিয়ে বলছেন যে, 'মনে রাখবে বাঘও আসতে পারে।' তাই কল্পতরুর কাছে আমাদের প্রার্থনা হোক, 'আমরা তোমায় চাই। কারণ তোমায় পেলেই সব পাওয়া হবে। তুমি সঙ্গে থাকলেই আর বাঘও কোনও ক্ষতি করতে পারবেনা।'
ভগবান শ্রীরামকৃষ্ণ শিখিয়েছেন যে, হলুদ মেখে জলে নামলে কুমীর আমাদের ধরতে পারেনা। তাই ভগবান শ্রীরামকৃষ্ণকে অবলম্বন করলে সংসাররূপ বাঘ আমাদের কোনও ক্ষতি করতে পারবেনা।

সঙ্কলনে :-স্বামী ব্রহ্মানন্দ (রামকৃষ্ণ মঠ ও মিশনের প্রথম সঙ্ঘ অধ্যক্ষ )
*ঈশ্বর **
(১) ভগবান সকলকার ভিতর কিরূপে বিরাজ করেন জানো ? যেমন চিকের ভিতর বড়লোকের মেয়েরা থাকে !তারা সকলকে দেখতে পায় ,কিন্তু তাঁদের কেউ দেখতে পায়না ,ভগবান সেইরূপ বিরাজ করছেন !
(২) প্রদীপের স্বভাব আলো দেয়া .কেউ বা তাতে ভাত রাঁধছে ,কেউ বা জাল করছে ,কেউ বা ভগবত পাঠ করছে ,সে কি আলোর দোষ ? অর্থ্যাৎ কেউ ভগবানের নামে মুক্তি চেষ্টা করছে ,কেউ চুরি করার চেষ্টা করছে ,সে কি ভগবানের দোষ ?
(৩)যার যেমন ভাব তার তেমনি লাভ ,ভগবান কল্পতরু ,তাঁর কাছে যে যা চায় তাই পায় !গরিবের ছেলে লেখপড়া শিখে হাইকোর্টের জজ হয়ে মনে করে "আমি বেশ আছি "ভগবান তখন বলেন "তূমি বেশ থাক "!তারপর যখন সে পেনশন নিয়ে ঘরে বসে ,তখন সে বুঝতে পারে এ জীবনে করলুম কি ?ভগবান তখন বলেন "তাইতো ,তুমি কি কোল্লে ?"
(৪) ব্রহ্ম ও শক্তি অভেদ ,ব্রহ্ম যখন নিষ্ক্রিয় অবস্থায় থাকেন ,তখন তাকে শুদ্ধ ব্রহ্ম বলে ,আর যখন সৃষ্টি ,স্থিতি ,প্রলয় ইত্যদি করেন ,তখন তার শক্তি কাজ বলে

Brief Profile of Swami Smarananandaji Maharaj, .
The President of Ramakrishna Order

Swami Smarananandaji Maharaj was born at village Andami in the district of Tanjavur, Tamil Nadu, in 1929. Even from his student days he was a voracious reader and a deep thinker.

He came in contact with Mumbai branch of the Ramakrishna Order when he was about 20 years old. Inspired by the ideals of Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda he joined Mumbai Ashrama in 1952 at the age of 22 and thus embraced monastic life. Swami Shankaranandaji Maharaj, the seventh President of Ramakrishna Order, gave him Mantra Diksha (spiritual initiation) in the same year. He also received from Swami Shankaranandaji Maharaj, Brahmacharya vows in 1956, and Sannyasa vows and the name 'Swami Smaranananda' in 1960.

From Mumbai centre, he was transferred to Kolkata branch of Advaita Ashrama, which is well-known for its publications, in 1958. He served at both Mayavati and Kolkata centres of the Ashrama for 18 long years. For a few years he was the Assistant Editor of Prabuddha Bharata, the English journal of Ramakrishna Order started by Swami Vivekananda. He also enthusiastically worked to improve the standard of publications of Advaita Ashrama, which received a lot of appreciation.

He was posted to Ramakrishna Mission Saradapitha, an educational complex near Belur Math, as its Secretary in 1976. During his long tenure of about 15 years there, educational and rural welfare work of Saradapitha saw tremendous development. He, along with his monastic assistants, took up extensive relief operations during the devastating flood in West Bengal in 1978. From Saradapitha he was posted to Ramakrishna Math, Chennai, as its Head in December 1991.

He was appointed a Trustee of the Ramakrishna Math and Member of the Governing Body of the Ramakrishna Mission in 1983. In April 1995, he joined the Headquarters as an Assistant Secretary, and after about two years, he took charge as the General Secretary of the twin organizations. As the General Secretary, he steered the worldwide Ramakrishna Movement for ten long years until May 2007 when he was elected a Vice-President of the Order.

As General Secretary and Vice-President, he travelled extensively in India and different parts of the world and visited the branches of the Math and Mission and also unaffiliated centres in those places. Through those visits he endeavoured to spread the message of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda and Vedanta among a vast number of people. He also gave Mantra Diksha to many spiritual seekers. He has contributed a number of articles to various journals of Ramakrishna Order.

Swami Smarananandaji Maharaj was elected the President of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission at the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Math and the Governing Body of the Mission held at Belur Math on 17 July 2017. He is the 16th President of the Order.
