Arumbakkam AG had its beginning in the year 1993 when God laid a burden for souls in the heart of Pastor. Sam Mark Raj in a place which never had a church before. After receiving the calling to start a church followed by fervent prayers in and around MMDA Colony, this church was dedicated on 19th September 1993 by the leaders and ministers of Assembly of God. Though the beginning was humble, by the preaching of God's powerful word and endless prayers, the church began to grow both in numbers and sound doctrine. Many non Christians and Christians who never had a relationship with Christ in the neighborhood began to experience miracles through the ministry started giving their lives to Christ and joined the church.

One of the most beloved hymns in Christian history,"It Is Well with My Soul" was written by Horatio G. Spafford after experiencing devastating personal loss. Instead of giving in to despair, he chose to place his trust in God, and his testimony became a source of comfort for generations of believers.

This hymn reminds us that peace is not the absence of storms, but the presence of Christ in the midst of them. When trials come, when grief feels overwhelming, and when life seems uncertain, we can still declare:

"It is well with my soul."

Today, let this timeless message encourage your heart. Whatever you're facing, God is faithful. His grace is sufficient, His presence is near, and His peace is available to all who trust in Him.

The Promise of Direct Paths 📖

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." — Proverbs 3:5-6

How often do we try to map out our entire lives, only to get stressed when things don't go according to our plan?

The book of Proverbs gives us a beautiful strategy: Stop trying to understand everything, and start trusting Completely.

God doesn't ask you to figure out the next ten steps. He just asks you to trust Him with the current step. When you submit your decisions, your anxieties, and your future to Him, He takes responsibility for clearing the debris out of your way.

He promises to guide you. You just have to let Him lead.
