St.Mary's Jacobite Syrian church is located in Mekkad, Nedumbassery panchayath Aluva thaluk of Ernakulam district, Kerala,India, under The Holy Apostolic See Of Antioch and All East. It belongs to Jacobite Syrian Church of angmaly diocese. Angamaly posses eminent postion among in church history. The foundation stone of our church was laid by lemond H.G.Mor Gregorious Vayliparambil on 10th February

1954. On 13th February 1960 the consecration of church and holy altar was done by his grace. The main altar is in the name of holy virgin Mary. The parish fest celebrated on first Sunday of the February every year.
