Paloor Kalari Sree Subrahmanya Swami Temple Panicker constructed a temple at the place where he got the divine sight.

One and half kilometers from pulamanthole center and 12KM from pattambi of shornur-mangalore railway line at paloor situate the famous temple of lord Subrahmanya, renowned as 'Paloor Kalari' (Kalari- a training center for martial arts and family shrine) from ancient period. An old venerable veteran and a unique expert in kerala's martial art Mr.Koma panicker was a firm believer of 'Palani Andavan

' (Sree Subrahmanyan) and visited Palani hills 101 times.He was an expert in astrology and famous for predicting losses.He could not visit his beloved God due to his old age and meditated Sree Murugan with great dedication.Sree Murugan felt compassion on panicker and gave 'Darshanam' (view) to him at paloor. Later a Muslim holy person Veeran Ouliya was pleased in the predictions of the twin brothers Narayana Panicker and Unni Panicker and their father Valiya poosali Krishnankutty Panicker of paloor kalari for which he donated a present wrapped in silk as 'Barkath' (good fortune). This present is even now kept as a tresure in the temple and this event lead the temple to a renowned position in religious harmony.
