A charitable Society under the instructions of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetadhipathi’s ‘Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamiji’ and ‘Sri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamiji’, The SCSGP (Sri Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Gnana Peetam) is established in Anantapur, AP. This voluntary, Non-Profit making Organization working towards supporting and promoting the Education, History, Vedic Culture and Hindu Philosophy
. This organization sprouted from the seed of ‘Sanatana Dharma’ and Swadesi philosophy. This organization started in a year 2008 intending to perform the Vedic ritualistic activities and conduct Vedantic discourses and programs as well as the social service activities among the poor and needful people without any difference of cast and creed. It is started mainly with the grief that the Vedic culture is perishing and the western outlook is pervading the roots of thought in Indian youth and children. Our Goals :
Youth Participation:
To directly and indirectly arouse interest in our Santana Dharma and Vedic culture in India and around the world. To work with temples and organizations and develop programs that will increase the participation of youth. To stop uncontrolled migration of villagers to towns and cities. We provide employment like preparing Homa Dravyas, Dhup Sticks and growing cows/ stitching machines etc. Education:
To promote and to start Schools ( Including Veda pathashalas, Sanskrit language, vedic mathematics.) and Colleges to impart scientific knowledge for the attainment of ultimate reality and for providing necessary knowledge therefore and also for giving education in ancient and modern learning. To Conduct BalaVikaas programs (Sanskara Kendra) in selected areas so that we can teach slokas, padyas, stories from scriptures and Samskaras and other things which improve moral, ethical and spiritual values in children’s life. To explore the depths of Vedas for ancient wisdom, heralding worldwide interest in India’s culture, its traditions and its attainments in the spiritual and material fields. To create the awareness and try to find the answers of many unanswered questions at the same time. To establish libraries with books connected with literature of Vedas, sruthis and sanathana Dharma philosophical books. To function as an action center for research body training and extension centers to discover the techniques in several fields of study such as agriculture, medicine, energy, minerals and metals, mathematics etc. which were the foundation of our Santhan Dharma. Temple Management:
To serve as a resource of knowledge and know-how of effective management practices for Hindu organizations and temples. Jeernoddarana i.e. to take care of ignored Temples and contribute in any way not only monetarily. Environment:
To establish and promote Goshalas by protecting our sacred Indian Cow. To promote Ayurveda. To Plant Devotional and Medicinal trees in villages/towns like: Raavi, Juuvvi, Meedi, Moduga, Bilvam, Vepa, Jammi, Neredu, etc... So that we can build ‘Vaidika Paryavaranam’ not only to help the society in achieving health, greenery but combat Global Warming. Seva and Outreach:
To promote the implementation of outreach service programs for the benefit of the community at-large. Poor and needy people helping programmes like tri cycles, eye camps, medical camps. To help implementing outreach service programs in Hindu organizations and temples for the benefit of the community at large, to improve the understanding of Hindu religion and culture in their neighborhoods and to facilitate their interactions with outside agencies, institutions and interfaith groups.
