“There is nothing higher that the blessing that emanates from the heart of a widow”. Why such a blessing higher than any other blessing is and what does the above quote mean? To know this it is of utmost importance to know abou

t the life of a lady who is a widow. The very word ‘widow’, conjures the image of a lady who has lost her husband, who has children who are very young, and in the absence of any support from her parents or in-laws, whose future is very bleak. In the absence of her husband, when there is no food at home, questions such as, how to feed the children and send them to school? Stare her in the eyes and in such a situation she has no choice except shedding tears in grief. In such a moment of extreme grief, through the blessings of the Almighty, if any organization or a particulars person comes to the rescue of such a widow, the blessing that emanates from her heart reaches the house of God. Bibi Kaulan Ji Trust originated from Gurmat satsang Sabha Dhan Dhan Mata Kaulan Ji, and come into existence twenty four years back in the year 1983 due to the efforts of some 9 dedicated souls. Gurmat Satsang Sabha, Dhan Dhan Mata Kaulan Ji would organize Kirtan Samagam at the residence of some devoted soul. Musical instruments would be carried on a bicycle, Series of Sri Akhand Path Sahib, Sehaj Path Sri Sukhmani Sahib , Sri Japuji Sahib & Waheguru Guru mantra would be organized. On such occasions Members of the Holy Congregation would bring langar from their home which would be served to the Sangat after making an offering to the Almighty Waheguru Bhai Guriqbal Singh ji would be personally present on all such holy occasions . As the congregation grew , people started offering money as a mark of respect for the kirtan ,Drawing inspiration from most holy Baba Kundan Singh Ji from Sri Nanaksar Kaleran Sahib, Bhai Guriqbal Singh Ji who had decided to perform and keep performing Kirtan without any monetary consideration was faced with a question as to where to spend the money that came as on offering in respect of the Kirtan. So Bhai Sahib Ji in consultation with his associates decided to spend the money for such a purpose as would please the Almightly, waheguru Guru Sahib Ji instinctively guided to use the money thus offered for the welfare of the widows & thus came into being Mata Kaulan Ji Bhalai Kendar Trust.
