Mark 6
48. और जब उस ने देखा, कि वे खेते खेते घबरा गए हैं, क्योंकि हवा उनके विरूद्ध थी, तो रात के चौथे पहर के निकट वह झील पर चलते हुए उन के पास आया; और उन से आगे निकल जाना चाहता था।
And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.
49. परन्तु उन्होंने उसे झील पर चलते देखकर समझा, कि भूत है, और चिल्ला उठे, क्योंकि सब उसे देखकर घबरा गए थे।
But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out:
50. पर उस ने तुरन्त उन से बातें कीं और कहा; ढाढ़स बान्धो: मैं हूं; डरो मत।
For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.

14. तब जो आश्चर्य कर्म उस ने कर दिखाया उसे वे लोग देखकर कहने लगे; कि वह भविष्यद्वक्ता जो जगत में आनेवाला था निश्चय यही है।
Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.
15. यीशु यह जानकर कि वे मुझे राजा बनाने के लिये आकर पकड़ना चाहते हैं, फिर पहाड़ पर अकेला चला गया।
When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

12. अब हमें दर्पण में धुंधला सा दिखाई देता है; परन्तु उस समय आमने साम्हने देखेंगे, इस समय मेरा ज्ञान अधूरा है; परन्तु उस समय ऐसी पूरी रीति से पहिचानूंगा, जैसा मैं पहिचाना गया हूं।
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

5. उस ने पूछा; हे प्रभु, तू कौन है? उस ने कहा; मैं यीशु हूं; जिसे तू सताता है।
And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
6. परन्तु अब उठकर नगर में जा, और जो कुछ करना है, वह तुझ से कहा जाएगा।
And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
