Awakened from being Spiritual cometose.
(Romans 13:11-13)
Q, What is Spiritual coma ?
A, It's like physical coma a condition which is some what like being asleep..

(Rom 11:7,8) The present state of Israel..God hath given them a Spirit of slumber (eyes that they should not see/ ears should not hear) unto this day....
"The Jews as a whole unresponsive God and the gospel of Christ, refuge to acknowledge that Jesus is their Messiah...what a long sleep" but....
(Rom 11:11,12) One day the Nation will be awakened when the Lord returns......

(Rom 13:11,Eph 5:14) Awake thou that sleepest..
Today the Christians are in backslidden condition...
* Lost consciousness of God in life
* Became inactive/No longer involves in service
* in fellowship with fellow Christians
* no longer ready Bible
* Does not respond to the Word of God.
" The cometose Christian is in most dangerous condition. and urgently needs treatment.
Invitation: beloved in Christ-Examine yourself to see if you are in a Spiritual comatose?

Lord Jesus's Birth
similarities
* We have a foreshadowing of the birth of Lord Jesus Christ
* God did not suddenly spring the Vargin birth on mankind
* He had prepared us by several miraculous births before this including the birth of the John the Baptist, the birth of even Samson, and here the birth of Issac....
(Comparision between the birth of Issac and of the Lord Jesus Christ)
1) The birth of Issac and the birth of Christ had been both promised
2) With both births there was a long interval between the promise and the fulfillment
3) The announcements of the births seemed incredulous and impossible to Sarah and to Mary.
4) Both Issac and Jesus were named before their births
5) Both births occurred at God's appointed time.
6) Both births were miraculous
7) Both sons were a particular joy of their fathers
Issac= meaning laughter
Jesus= This is my beloved Son in Him Iam well pleased
8) Both were obedient to their fathers unto death
9) The miraculous birth of Issac us a picture of the resurrection of Jesus Christ
(Romans 4:19,and V25)...........

Awakened from being Spiritually comatose..

A, Realize the urgency of WAKING up......
" Make sure of your calling and election by self examine. "
(Rom 13:11) It is high time to awake out of sleep...
(Rom 2:4) The goodness...of God must lead us to swift repentance..
(Rom 13:11, Eph 2:8) Our salvation is nearer...
Note: Salvation-just not our souls-but bodies..
( 1Cor15:52-54, Matt 24:43,44, 25:1-13)

B, Remove the causeof Spiritual coma.....
(Rom 13:12,13) Let us cast off the works of darkness...
(Heb12:1-3) We must lay aside..........

C, Restore the safe guards against the Spiritual coma...
(Rom13:12) The Armour of light...Put on.
(Eph 6:10-18) The Armour............
(Matt 12:43-45) An unclean spirit.....
* (Psa 27:4) One thing I have desired...

(Matt 19:28,29) Jesus answered Peter's question, When the Son of Man sits on throne
(Mark10:29,30) No one has left home or brother.......
" Life is not a life of physical luxury, We have persecution, trial and sufferings.
The Christian life is certainly......worth it.

* OUR TRIALS HAVE SPECIAL VALUE.......
(Romans 5:3,4) Knowing that tribulations worketh patience...
(James 1:2-4) Count it all joy when ye fall being divers....
( 1Pet 1:7) Your faith being much more precious than of gold that perisheth. .

(Exodus 15:27)
Elim was a place of abundant blessing and fruitfulness.
* There were seventy palm trees and twelve Wells.
* After the bitterness of Marah, God brought His people to Elim.
" Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning ".
* Simon Peter may be locked in the inner prison, but the angel is going to open the door.
* Paul and Silas may be beaten at midnight, but an earthquake will free them.
* There is Marah along the pilgrim pathway today.
* But friend there is also an Elim.
* God's plan for usefulness always leads to Marah and to Elim....
* Joseph...you remember had that experience.

* Beyond every Marah there is an Elim

* What was it That made the bitter water of Marah---- Sweet?
* We are told that a tree cast into the water made it Sweet....

* (Deuteronomy 21: 22-23) He that is hanged is
accursed of God...
* (Galatians 3:13,14) Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree..Jesus Christ died on a tree, and that it is Cross that makes the experiences
of life Sweet.
* HE tasted death for every man ; and stick the sting out of death....
* (1 Cor 15 : 55) " O death where is your sting?
O grave where is thy victory?"

" It is the cross of Christ that makes Sweet the Marah experiences of life..."
