Padila Mahadev Temple (पड़िला महादेव मंदिर,इलाहबाद) The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. They stayed here for a night and on the advice of Rishi Bharadwaj they installed the Shivling here.

Location : Located at a distance of about 16 km from Allahabad on Allahabad-Pratapgarh Road (NH-96), in Paidila, district Allahabad, U.P., India

Timings/opening : 4am-9pm, opens on all days

In the Panch koshi Parikrama of Prayag, Paidila Mahadev has a very special place. It is believed that the temple is as old as Dwapar Period and this place was visited by Pandavas during their journey to Patliputra. Hence, the temple is named Pandeshwar (Paidila Mahadev).Monday, Shivratri, Shravan month, & Purushottam month are considered auspicious; when the temple is visited by thousands of devotees and different kind of pujas are conducted by the devotees.
