******INTRODUCTION******
______Muslim Students’ Organisation of India
(M.S.O.) is an apex body of students and youths of Muslim (Ahle Sunnat Wal Jama’at) of India. in 1997 by Advocate Ismael Wafa, a student of Aligarh Muslim University. The Movement is headquartered in New Delhi at Daryaganj.
** MSO of India is working in various prominent campuses across the country like Aligarh Muslim Uni
versity Aligarh, Jamia Hamdard (New Delhi),
Jamia Millia Islamia University (New Delhi), Rohilkhand University (U.P.), Rajasthan University, Rajasthan Technical University,
Markazu Saqafati Sunniya Kerala,Lucknow University, and Jamia Sadia Kerala. It has strong network in states like U.P., New Delhi, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Asom, Manipur, Odisha, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, M.P., Bihar, and Uttarakhand.
** MSO of Indi has an alliance with Kerala based Sunni Students Federation (SSF), which is largest students’ organisation of South India.
** MSO of India is against all forms of violence and terrorist activities happening anywhere in the world and strongly condemns any act of
inhuman activities against the innocent people of the world.
** MSO of India is of the view, that Sufi Islamic teachings based on Peace, Mutual Cooperation, Love, Brotherhood,
and Communal Harmony are only alternative left before the world in order to establish Peace.
# and Objectives:
* To do Da’wah work among the youths.
* Spread the message of peace among the youths of the country.
* To provide the youth a good, Islamic & educational atmosphere.
* To spread education among the various sections of the society with the active help of youths.
* To prepare students as active contributors towards the community and country.
* To build the society based on the Islamic morality and spirituality.
******POLICY & PROGRAM******
# IN AMU CAMPUS
* Organizing conferences and discussions in different halls of residence.
* Weekly Dars-e-Qur’an with question and answer session is organised in every hall & addressing the various issues of Islam.
* MSO prepares students and youths to spread Islam; it provides them necessary opportunities, guidance and resources.
* MSO also organizes educational camps during URS i.e. birth or death anniversary of Sufi scholars and conducts help camps on various important occasions.
* It distributes books, pamphlets, posters, stickers and calendars among the students of various campuses.
* It has an updated and active Islamic library with a wide range of books (Exegesis of Qur’an, Commentary on Ahadith, Fatawa, Journals, Magazines etc.
* An annual conference named Azmat-eRasool (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), organised in Kennedy Auditorium, AMU.
* Free of cost teaching and learning of Quran, Hadith, and Urdu is provided in the MSO library to the students.
