The 158th Foundation Day of Church of the Ascension Aligarh, Diocese of Agra, CNI, was celebrated with great joy, faith, and thanksgiving under the guidance and leadership of The Revd. Aman Abhishek Prasad.
The blessed occasion brought together pastors, church leaders, congregations, and believers from different churches across Aligarh, beautifully reflecting the spirit of Christian unity and fellowship. Churches including Central Methodist Church, City Christ Church, Methodist Church, and St. Fidelis Church participated wholeheartedly along with their congregations and faithful members.
The choirs from the participating churches also presented beautiful worship songs and hymns, filling the atmosphere with praise, devotion, and thanksgiving to God. Their special choir presentations added spiritual joy and inspiration to the entire celebration.
Clergy members and pastors present during the celebration included Father Paul Thanikal, Rev Jonathan Lal, Rev Yusuf Das, and Rev Dara Singh along with several other ministers and believers from various congregations of Aligarh.
The celebration was marked with worship, prayers, thanksgiving, fellowship, and messages of faith, remembering the rich spiritual heritage and faithful journey of the church through 158 years of God’s grace and guidance. The gathering became a powerful testimony of unity, worship, and shared commitment toward the mission of Christ in Aligarh.
