We had a wonderful time at Santhosh's well maintained and furnished apartment. Santhosh helped us all the way right from guiding us to the place to regular visits to check if we needed anything anytime. The apartment was crystal clean and room was spacious with daily housekeeping. There were no other guests in the house and we got accessibility to the entire big place. There was also a lovely garden outside and easy accessibility to local grocery shops, medicals and vegetarian restaurant (located 1.5 kms away only). Santhosh offered us to use the well equipped kitchen and washing machine too at our own will at a very nominal charge. He assisted us to guide the autorickshaw driver to hospitals when our baby fell ill and needed to be taken for consultation. Santhosh also provided some valuable local tips for sightseeing and nearby local spots with route map on his tips. On top of this, he offered us delicious home cooked (vegetable rice with chutney) , bananas without even we asking for the same. He was equally and well concerned with our baby's health and also took me to his other home listed at airbnb, which was around 0.6 km from this apartment to provide us few other utensils. It didnt feel that we were out of our home. This apartment was full value for money and felt like heaven's abode. Highly recommend to anyone who is visiting Alleppey, just for Santhosh's hospitality and surreal atmosphere of the place !!! Alappuzha Beach is just a walk away or 5 min ride. Even 5 stars would prove less for such a great setup!

Very pleasant stay at Santosh's home stay. The rooms were neat and clean and all amenities were provided for. Santosh is very easy to communicate with and his homestay is right behind the Allepey Collectorate office which is easy to describe to rickshaw drivers. Santosh and his wife are extremely helpful and generous. They belong to Allepey and have good tips and interesting snippets on the city. Santosh also runs a travel company named Kerala Fantasy Travels. Day trips, cabs and houseboats can be booked via him too. Additionally, his wife prepared a delicious breakfast spread each day for us (125 Rupees per person per day). Overall, I'd recommend booking his listing for a pleaseant homestay experience in Allepey.

Staying at Goku's Homestay was one of the best decisions I made in my Alleppey trip. Santosh is a amazing person and made sure we had everything we needed. We arrived really late in the evening because our flight was delayed, yet Santosh was so welcoming even in the middle of the night. Also, I should mention that his wife Sheeja is equally generous and a great cook. Even though I heard that Kerala cuisine does not have much vegetarian choices, my myths were busted after having the varieties of delicious dishes that Sheeja made for us. Now coming to the location and the house. Boss!! It is fabulous. Santosh's place is a rare find and worth your time. First of all the locality is great and the house is right beside the collectorate which makes it the safest places in the town. We could see police patrolling at late night when we were going to Santosh's house. What's great is that even though the house is in a central location, the place maintains its quaint charm. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, cleaner than they can ever be! and the beautiful balcony attached to the room adds a feather to a cap. I saw the happiness on my Mom's face the morning I woke up and saw her enjoying the balcony and the garden view with a newspaper and it was worth a million. I am glad I stayed here with my family and my parents loved the place. I would suggest it to anyone and anyone who wants a lovely, safe and memorable trip.

This was such a wonderful place to rest! Our journey had been a little tough until we reached Alleppey, and we were so glad when we reached Goku's. Santosh and Sheena were welcoming and helpful, while the place was perfectly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also amazing. We really wish we could have stayed for longer.

Santhosh, Sheeja and Goku were absolutely lovely! Such a warm and welcoming family. The room and bathroom were well sized and spotlessly clean. Sheeja is an amazing cook and we were lucky enough to have breakfast and dinner prepared by her. Her food is absolutely incredible and some of the best we've eaten, ever! I absolutely recommend staying with them while your in Allepey. We can't wait to visit again :)

This guest house was a fantastic find in Alleppey, the room was clean and spacious with a glorious balcony attached. The bathroom was satisfactory, it met our needs just fine. Sheeja's breakfasts were delicious and we highly recommend that you try them! Sheeja also greeted us with cold water and watermelon when we arrived which was much appreciated. If you're in Alleppey, make sure to stay here.

We stayed at Gokus homestay for five days to relax after travelling the north for two weeks. I find it hard to express just how much we enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. Santhosh and his wife Sheeja were nothing but friendly, warm and welcoming. We felt more like we had been accepted into a family than just mere guests. Sheeja often cooked great Indian food for us for very little extra fee. She also kept everything super clean. Santhosh was extremely helpful to us in planning the next steps of our trip: he arranged a stay on a houseboat for us as well as the transportation to our next destination and the accommodation there. When we left we were actually sad to say good bye. Apart from that, aleppey was also definitely worth the trip. Beautiful beaches, beautiful backwaters and very nice people.

I spent two nights in Goku's Homestay and I'm very happy of my choice in Alleppey. Santhosh and his family are very friendly and pleasant persons, we spent some time in amiable chats and I had the feeling I was hosted by some old friends. I had some troubles finding the house (my fault) and Santhosh promptly came to pick me up and drove me to the place. When I left, he was so kind to drive me to the train station early that morning. As already said, I was treated like an old friend visiting them. The house is very nice, pretty well located between the beach and the bazars and the room is comfortable. I will surely choose it again for my next trip there and I definitely recommend it.

My friends and I booked Goku's Homestay last minute and we were very happy that we did. We had an interesting journey up from Varkala and it was so nice to be greeted by Santhosh and his wife with cold water and friendly smiles. We had no real plans and Santhosh was exteremly helpful in giving recommendations and helping us set up a backwater cruise and transportation. Santhosh and his wife are excellent hosts. Not only do they have very nice property, they provided us with a multitude of services. Santhosh found us a great place for lunch ( took my son there to check it out first), booked a boat trip for us, while we were on the water his wife washed our clothes! Very nice. Speaking of his wife, she is the best cook I have ever met. I highly, highly recommend you eat your meals at their house. They are feasts and her cooking is fantastic. Santhosh helped us on our train scheduling the day we left. Please stay at Goku Guesthouse in Alleppey, you will not be disappointed.

It was very pleasant stay in Goku's homestay. I hadn't planned my aleppey stay too well but Santhosh was extremely helpful to get me something to do on my stay. We found a hatha yoga teacher who came to teach me for reasonable price. Sheeja's breakfast was very delicious and got a parcel on the day I left so I could eat it in the train. Santhosh also helped me to get quickly in the train by his bike.Thank you!
