Women’s Ministries provide a programme of meetings and other activities based on the fourfold aims of the Army’s international women’s organisation - worship, education, fellowship and service. The mission of Women’s Ministries is to:
# bring women into a knowledge of Jesus Christ
# encourage their full potential in influencing family, friends and community
# equip them for growth in personal understanding and life skills
# address issues which affect women and their families in the world

Dedication of the Production Centre's Embroidery Machine💐

The installation of a new embroidery machine at the Production Centre is a landmark event for India Eastern Territory, facilitating self-sufficiency in producing Salvation Army trimmings and accessories. Since its establishment, the Production Centre has not only focused on producing uniforms with ease of access but has also nurtured young girls and women through employment, hope, and opportunities. Furthermore, it has enabled us to nurture young girls in pursuing higher studies through it income.
Although the Centre has been operational for merely a year, its achievements are a testament to God's graciousness and the fulfillment of His purpose🙏

National Women Officers’ Empowerment Conference

It was an honor to participate in the National Women Officers' Empowerment Conference held from May 31st to June 3rd, 2026, at Union Biblical Seminary in Pune, Maharashtra. Led by TPWM Colonel Lalnunhlui, the event drew enthusiastic participation from TSWM, TWDO from THQ, 8 DDWM representatives from all divisions, and a single woman DC from India Eastern Territory. The hosting team, comprising Commr. Mani Kumari Dasari from IHQ and supported by the National Office in Kolkata & IWT deserves commendation for organizing a successful event that brought together leaders and DDWM from all territories. The conference proved to be a rewarding experience, and gratitude is extended to the leaders and hosting team for their efforts.

On April 30, 2026, the Territorial Women’s Ministries organized a seminar focused on Women Empowerment at Geetanjali Conference Hall in Agartala, Tripura. The event brought together Women Officers, Evangelist Teachers, and Soldiers of Cross from the Tripura District and had a significant influence on the participants, equipping them with the strength and confidence to excel in their roles and serve the community effectively. Furthermore, THQ women officers offered free health check-ups, including blood pressure and sugar tests, to ensure the well-being of all workers.
